Tammy Vaughan gained a significant amount of weight after caring for her mother who passed away from Alzheimer's. She realized she needed to make a change on Christmas in 2012 when she weighed 278 pounds. She joined 24 Hour Fitness in January 2013 and met with a personal trainer, Stephen Todesco, who helped her learn new exercises and eating habits. Since joining, she has lost 75 pounds and met her goal of being able to bike to the gym, riding 8 miles there and back. Her story encourages others to work towards their fitness goals for themselves.
