Personal Training Success Story

MY HARDEST FIGHT EVER 
On Christmas morning 2012, I woke up to the weight of 278lbs. My jaw hit the ground, how could I do this to myself? 
I knew that the last couple years of my life had been hard. I had given my Mom 24/7 care and had lost her Alzheimer’s 
that year. After watching my Mom’s life slip away, the only thing that brought me comfort was food. This was the easy 
way out for me. After gaining all this weight, I knew that I had to make a change for my own sake. At this time, I was 
in a size 24 jeans and getting bigger. On January 3, 2013, I met the Club Manager, Manny Escalante, and my life 
changed forever when I decided to join 24 Hour Fitness. In April of 2013, I met the Fitness Manger Stephen Todesco, 
who became my Personal Trainer. This is when I started to learn new exercises, eating habits, and ultimately I started 
to see better results. Currently I have lost 75lbs, since I joined 24 Hour Fitness. My goals for 2014 are to lose another 
30-40lbs and to be able to ride my bike to the gym. To all of you out there, make sure you’re doing this for yourself 
and not for others. Watch your pride soar as you start to get a taste of what it is like to succeed with your fitness goals. 
On June 16th 2014, after a year of talking about one of my long-term goals, I finally rode my bike 8 miles to the 
gym and 8 miles back home. I was ecstatic about this to say that least.
