Question 1
• For my first question i asked what gender they
were and everyone apart from one person
were male and this was out of 20 people.
• This can help me to make my magazine more
on the feminine side as mostly girls will read
  my magazine.
• Female:19
• Male:1
Question 2
• For the second question i asked how old
people were and everyone said that they were
16-20, this can help me to make sure that my
magazine is not to childish but also not to
  grown up.
• 100% 16-20
Question 3

• For the third question i asked people who is
their favourite band or singer and i had many
  different answers.
Mcfly This will help me with
Beyonce choosing who to have as
The Script a main picture on my
Lady Gaga page or to include in my
                Coldplay cover lines.
                Chris Brown
                Black Keys
                Nicki Minaj
Question 4
• With this question i asked who was your
favourite indie band or singer and this is what
  my answers where.
8 This tells me that not that
7 many people know about
6 much indie singers or bands
5
4 and only a few think they do
3 so that will then mean that
2 in my magazine i can include
1 loads of different indie bands
0
                          or singers.
    Dont Know Any
           Lemmy
          Coldplay
       Ed Sheeran

               Fun
         Kate Nash
Question 5
• The next question that i asked is what three
words do you associate with indie, and many
  people said:
• Festivals:8
                           I can now use these
• Relaxed:3 main words in my
• Calm:2 magazine and this will
                           make the magazine
• Funky:3 look more indie and
                           look more realistic.
• Cool:4
Question 6
• I asked people what was there favourite
  colour.
                                            This will let me make
8
                                            the colour that most
6 of the people like use
                                            it on the
4
                                            magazine, and then
2 I'm making the
                                            audience happy and
0 giving them what
Blue Pink Yellow Black Green they want.
Question 7
• I then asked for question 7 what colours do
they associate with indie and i got many
  different colours.
6 This tells me that many people
5 think that the indie colours are
4 greens so that could maybe be
3 the main colours of my
2
                         magazine.

Question 8
• I asked them how often do they buy and many
people said daily, weekly, monthly or yearly.
•
This shows that not everyone buys
8 magazines everyday and this could
6 be because the price has gone up
or people just don't buy them until
  4 they have the money.

Question 9
• I asked the question, what do you like about the
magazine that you currently read?, and i had
loads of answers for example, the fashion, who's
in it, posters, pictures and tour dates.

• This can make sure that i say that some of these
are in my magazine as then it will be relating to
my questionnaire and if this was a real magazine
then they would have in it what they wanted in it.
Question 10
• I asked about what they dislike about the
magazine that they are now reading, and
more than half said that there was too much
  text for them to read.
• Too much text: 65%
• Other: 35%
