An elderly man was walking along the beach at sunset after a storm. He noticed a boy picking up sea stars that had washed ashore and throwing them back into the ocean. When the man asked what the boy was doing, the boy replied that he was changing things for each individual sea star that he returned to the water. Though the actions of one person may seem small, each person has the power to make a positive difference through their own actions.

8. The boy looked at him, took a starfish from the sand, threw it into the ocean and said:

9. - Well, I just changed things for this starfish!

10. There is something very special in each and every one of us. We have all been gifted with the ability to make a difference. And if we can become aware of that gift, we gain through the strength of our visions the power to shape the future. We must each find our starfish. And if we throw our stars wisely and well, the world will be blessed.
