Tim Wang presented on Taiwan's progress towards IPv6 readiness. He discussed the status of IPv6 deployment in Taiwan's government and academic networks, with usage around 3.84% and 19.49% respectively. CHT's IPv6 deployment roadmap was also presented, including major milestones achieved and plans for commercial IPv6 services on FTTx and 4G LTE networks by 2019. Common measurement criteria showed Taiwan's IPv6 BGP advertisement at 40.77%, service availability at 15.39%, and user availability at 0.8%, indicating steady growth in IPv6 adoption.

grow up in Taiwan.
• Chunghwa Telecom has done the trial service in
2017 and will provide 4G LTE commercial IPv6
service this year.
