- 13. Usage Story. Visualization Tableau has more powerful visualizations than Dossier. Easy to create, ease to use. However MSTR Documents allows you to create more customized and good-looking views, but it requires time and qualification. © 2019 VisiQuate. All rights reserved.
- 14. Usage Story. Tooltips Tableau has a lot of options to be used in tooltip, even additional Visualization. Also there is an option to add annotates to views. Easy to create, ease to use. - 15. Usage Story. Table visualization Tableau has limitation to show only 16 dimensions in table view. There are some workarounds. Not created to work with big text tables (no paging, search). MicroStrategy has no limit for table view, you can build any detailed report. MSTR tables in Report: more interactivity - view filers, change attributemetric on axis, creating page by Tableau : cannot change dimension on axis without edit (similar behavior in Dossier) © 2019 VisiQuate. To view detail data in different visualization dashboard actions could be used (filter, go to sheet, url action). User rights defined by site role(viewer, explorer, creator) and content permissions. MicroStrategy allows to set privileges in more detailed way. With MicroStrategy Object Manager you can deploy all project objects or just part of them between servers/projects. - Tableau has much less option in Dashboard formatting than Documents in MSTR There is no threshold in Tableau, you can change bar color based on created calculation( use calc in color marrks)
- Tableau has powerfull tooltip, you can include any info in tooltip, customize them, even add visualization in tooltip (cannot change tooltip in MSTR VI)
