This document discusses the systemic blood supply to the lungs in different chest diseases. It aims to recognize the systemic arteries that can supply the lungs in various conditions, list diseases that can cause systemic arterial supply, and describe how to differentiate systemic supply from other causes of mediastinal vessel dilation. Developmental anomalies are mentioned as one cause of abnormal systemic arterial supply to the lungs.
