- 2. 2012-‐3 Prepara&on and submission of project concept (PIF) endorsed by countries 2013 Approval by GEF Council 2014 Project Prepara&on Phase (PPG) 11/2014 Submission of Project Document for GEF CEO Endorsement The PPG phase will support the background preparatory work needed to gather more detailed information in order to refine the design of the project activities and to identify the requirements for their implementation. 01/2015 CEO Endorsement and project effec&veness

The PPG work will require: • The preparation of the preliminary baseline situation analysis and identification of the groundwater resources of the basin; • the agreement with countries on the detailed content of Training Program; • agreement among countries and partners on project activities and funding, scope and associated cofinancing; • identification and involvement of major stakeholders.
