Who Survived?
The four people we chose to survive in the bunker from the avian flu was a female scientist,
a male army officer, a male doctor, and a female university professor. We picked a scientist that
deals with biology so they could help deal with the seeds, water, and the green house. We picked
the army office really for is strength and he also probably has good leadership skills. We
understood that he has mental instability, but we think it probably isn’t that bad, that it could
endanger the others. We picked a doctor who has medical skills, so that he could help keep
everyone in the bunker health and make sure they do not become ill. Also because he would know
how to use the medical facilities. We picked a university professor who mostly deals with general
education. So that she could read the books in the bunker and learn about certain things. Also she
will help teach the next civilization.
We decide to leave the priest, because in my honest opinion we really don’t need religion in
the new world and it would feel he wouldn’t contribute to the group. We left the married couple,
mostly because of the part where they are drug addicts and they would probably go crazy without
the drugs they use. We left the lawyer because we believed he really wouldn’t be all that useful,
because we have an educator that could help teach about laws. We left the welfare dependent,
because this person is lazy and probably won’t contribute anything to the group and just let
everyone else do everything. To be honest we left the disable person, the elderly woman, and the
pregnant woman with her five year old. We felt bad, but we believe that they wouldn’t be very

2. helpful, because for one the disable person won’t be able to give much help. The elderly woman
probably is way too old and could die before they leave the bunker. The pregnant woman and her
fiver year old would take up the space for the bunker that could be better use for people who are
useful.
