We used a motion sensor to trigger the motor to turn on and off when motion was detected. The most challenging part was making the robot look presentable with all the different parts needed to assemble the flushing toilet mechanism and getting them to work together functionally. We overcame this by using two boxes, a long one atop a shorter wide one, cutting a hole for the toilet bowl in the top box and running wires through to spin the bowl.

Robot
Our group made a flushing toilet for the robot activity using the motor from a hummingbird kit to spin and simulate flushing water. We used a motion sensor to trigger the motor to turn on and off when motion was detected. The most challenging part was making the robot look presentable with all the different parts needed to assemble the flushing toilet mechanism and getting them to work together functionally. We overcame this by using two boxes, a long one atop a shorter wide one, cutting a hole for the toilet bowl in the top box and running wires through to spin the bowl.
Obituary
Keely Hill, a 78-year-old woman from Pittsburgh, passed away after living a long and healthy life. She was born in Bluefield, WV in 1997 and attended elementary, middle, and high school in West Virginia before getting her nursing degree from Marshall University. Keely worked as a nurse at Pittsburgh General Hospital where she helped save many lives and enjoyed spending time with her cats and friends.

Some friends and family of the author faced harmful stereotypes in Southern West Virginia. A coal miner friend's father was assumed to live in a trailer and own a pickup truck, despite not doing so. A black friend attending school in West Virginia was warned by a stranger on an elevator not to "jump him." The author's neighbors were surprised that her mother, as a woman, now earns more than her step-father. A tomboyish female friend is often incorrectly assumed to be a lesbian due to her masculine interests and appearance.
High school cliques

advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and

- 1. Keely Hill FYS In the Survival 101 activity, I chose to keep the scientist (biologist, female), the university professor (math, male), the army officer (male), and the doctor (female). I chose to keep the scientist so that she can help with the green house and help to teach the new world about science. I chose to keep the professor for math because in our everyday lives we all need math, and so will the new world. I kept the army officer so that he can start a new army for the new world, and they can keep everyone safe. I kept the doctor so that over the six months, if any of the people in the bunker need medical attention, he can try to help them as much as possible. I killed the priest because he could not help the people of the new world reproduce. I killed the married couple who are hippies and drug addicts because they wouldn’t be able to help out in any major way, and they might have withdrawals from their drug habits that makes them go crazy. I killed the pregnant woman with the 5 year old girl because without the correct tools, her childbirth could go wrong and she could die anyways, and the 5 year old girl would just hold the rest of them back. I killed the elderly woman because she could not contribute in any major way, she would most likely die soon anyways. I killed the disabled person because, no matter what is wrong with him, he could hold back the others. I killed the lawyer because in creating a new population, and a new world, a lawyer is not quite necessary. I killed the lazy welfare dependent because if he is lazy, he won’t help very much in any way.
