industry
In between the year of 2005-2006 our music industry started to forfeited its
audio market and started facing the gigantic problem of piracy due to the latest
technological audio format MPEG-1, MPEG-2,Audio Layer III more commonly
referred as MP3.
MP3 is an audio coding format for digital audio which uses a form of data
compression. It came as a common audio format for consumer streaming or
storage. As well as digital audio compression for the transfer and playback of
music on most digital audio players. Our audio listeners started to move in to
that trend where they prefer digital audio format which can be played by
digital audio player rather than buying CD’s from the market.
From that period of time our huge audio market started to fall down, many
audio companies shut their business, singers were discouraged to produce new
albums in to the market. Music publishers could not afford to pay the singers
royalty as they could not sell the amount of albums like before.

problems. So many initiatives were taken to combat with piracy to regain the lost
