Abstract This paper describes potentially the using of magnesium alloy as an energy longitudinal member used in crashworthiness applications. Since magnesium alloys are lighter weight material, they are preferred to use to decrease the environmental pollution and fuel consumptions. Non-linear finite element was used to simulate the crash behaviour of the thin walled hexagonal tube. The tube was subjected to both direct and oblique loading. Trigger mechanism was applied in this study. The aim of using trigger is to decrease the initial peak load and to enhance the energy absorption capability of the tube and also crash force efficiency. Three trigger geometries have been applied circular, rectangular and elliptical geometry. Three type of trigger distribution already have been studied. The positions and the size of triggers are also investigated. It was found that the 10% per cent reductions with elliptical trigger revealed the best choice; it shows enhancing in energy absorption and CFE about10 per cent and decreasing in peak force by 10 per cent too.

It establishes a synchronous error converting system to analyze destabilizing factors in the biaxial system. Based on Narendra adaptive control theory, the strategy designs a reference model and robust adaptive law to force the dual axes to track the same reference and suppress destabilizing factors. Stability analysis using Lyapunov theory shows the proposed strategy can balance stability and synchronous performance. Simulations and experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the robust adaptive cross-coupling control strategy.

This paper presents designing an adaptive state feedback controller (ASFC) for a magnetic levitation system (MLS), which is an unstable system and has high nonlinearity and represents a challenging control problem. First, a nonadaptive state feedback controller (SFC) is designed by linearization about a selected equilibrium point and designing a SFC by pole-placement method to achieve maximum overshoot of 1.5% and settling time of 1s (5% criterion). When the operating point changes, the designed controller can no longer achieve the design specifications, since it is designed based on a linearization about a different operating point. This gives rise to utilizing the adaptive control scheme to parameterize the state feedback controller in terms of the operating point. The results of the simulation show that the operating point has significant effect on the performance of nonadaptive SFC, and this performance may degrade as the operating point deviates from the equilibrium point, while the ASFC achieves the required design specification for any operating point and outperforms the state feedback controller from this point of view.

Abstract
In this work, the energies dissipated by the spring mass damper system with three degrees of freedom are modelled and simulated for three types of external loads, namely, constant load, exponential decaying load overtime and a partial load over a time period. Two models of the spring mass damper system are modelled and the governing equations are derived. The velocities of the oscillators are estimated by solving the corresponding governing equations for loss of factor of 0.15. The kinetic and potential energies are calculated using the mass, velocity and stiffness of the oscillators and total energy is estimated. , when the load is changed from full load to a partial load over a time period, there is significant increase in the displacement and the velocity at near 0.75 sec, which means it dissipates more energy The contribution of the kinetic energy is minimal for oscillator 2 in all cases and the total energy is constituted mostly of potential energy and there is a substantial contribution both by kinetic and potential energy of oscillator 1 and 3 is presented in this paper. It involves computing an optimal "maximum efficiency per torque" stator flux map offline using no-load and short-circuit test data. During operation, the control system regulates the stator flux according to the desired torque level using the optimal flux reference from the precomputed map. This strategy significantly improves efficiency below rated torque compared to constant rated flux operation. This document summarizes a study that uses Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic control as a speed controller for indirect field oriented control of an induction motor drive. The study builds a simulation model of indirect field oriented control for an induction motor in MATLAB Simulink. Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic is then applied as the speed controller using error and derivative error as inputs and change of torque command as the output. Simulation results show zero overshoot, a rise time of 0.4 seconds, and a settling time of 0.4 seconds. The steady state error is 0.01% indicating the speed can accurately follow the reference speed. The fuzzy logic controller provides effective speed control for the induction motor drive.

We focus a modern methodology in this paper for adding the fuzzy logic control as well as sliding model control. This combination can enhance the MLS position control robustness and enhanced performance of it.In the start, for an application in an area to control the loops placement and position for the synchronous motor what has permanent magnetic linearity we tend to control the fuzzy sliding mode control. To resolve the chattering issues a designed controller is investigated and, in this way, steady state motion in sliding with higher accuracy is obtained. In this case, method of online tuning with the help of fuzzy logic is used in order to adjust the thickness of boundary layer and switching gains.For the suggested scheme technique, the outcomes of simulation suggest that with the classical SMC the accurate state and good dynamic performance is compared due to force chattering resistance, response by quick dynamic force and external disturbance elements and robustness against them.

The system aims to test and analyze various control strategies by using a servo motor to continuously adjust the angle of a beam to stabilize a rolling ball. It discusses the requirements, conceptual design, and concurrent selection and integration of subsystems including the mechanical design, sensors, actuators, and control algorithm. Preliminary block diagrams and component layouts are presented and the mechanical system parts are listed. The design is intended to help users visualize and experiment with different control methods on a precise and cost-effective experimental unit.

Design of an adaptive state feedback controller for a magnetic levitation sy...IJECEIAES
This paper presents designing an adaptive state feedback controller (ASFC) for a magnetic levitation system (MLS), which is an unstable system and has high nonlinearity and represents a challenging control problem. First, a nonadaptive state feedback controller (SFC) is designed by linearization about a selected equilibrium point and designing a SFC by pole-placement method to achieve maximum overshoot of 1.5% and settling time of 1s (5% criterion). When the operating point changes, the designed controller can no longer achieve the design specifications, since it is designed based on a linearization about a different operating point. This gives rise to utilizing the adaptive control scheme to parameterize the state feedback controller in terms of the operating point. The results of the simulation show that the operating point has significant effect on the performance of nonadaptive SFC, and this performance may degrade as the operating point deviates from the equilibrium point, while the ASFC achieves the required design specification for any operating point and outperforms the state feedback controller from this point of view.

Abstract
In this work, the energies dissipated by the spring mass damper system with three degrees of freedom are modelled and simulated for three types of external loads, namely, constant load, exponential decaying load overtime and a partial load over a time period. Two models of the spring mass damper system are modelled and the governing equations are derived. The velocities of the oscillators are estimated by solving the corresponding governing equations for loss of factor of 0.15. The kinetic and potential energies are calculated using the mass, velocity and stiffness of the oscillators and total energy is estimated. , when the load is changed from full load to a partial load over a time period, there is significant increase in the displacement and the velocity at near 0.75 sec, which means it dissipates more energy The contribution of the kinetic energy is minimal for oscillator 2 in all cases and the total energy is constituted mostly of potential energy and there is a substantial contribution both by kinetic and potential energy of oscillator 1 and 3 is presented in this paper. optimization method on a blade model computed by the BEM and the FEM methods.
The optimization results are compared with the results obtained by the BEM method.
This document summarizes a study that uses Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic control as a speed controller for indirect field oriented control of an induction motor drive. The study builds a simulation model of indirect field oriented control for an induction motor in MATLAB Simulink. Takagi-Sugeno fuzzy logic is then applied as the speed controller using error and derivative error as inputs and change of torque command as the output. Simulation results show zero overshoot, a rise time of 0.4 seconds, and a settling time of 0.4 seconds. The steady state error is 0.01% indicating the speed can accurately follow the reference speed. The fuzzy logic controller provides effective speed control for the induction motor drive.

To resolve the chattering issues a designed controller is investigated and, in this way, steady state motion in sliding with higher accuracy is obtained. In this case, method of online tuning with the help of fuzzy logic is used in order to adjust the thickness of boundary layer and switching gains.For the suggested scheme technique, the outcomes of simulation suggest that with the classical SMC the accurate state and good dynamic performance is compared due to force chattering resistance, response by quick dynamic force and external disturbance elements and robustness against them.

This article examines a solution to the major problems of induction machine control in order to achieve superior dynamic performance. Conventional direct torque control and indirect control with flux orientation have some drawbacks, such as current harmonics, torque ripples, flux ripples, and rise time. In this article, we propose a comparative analysis between previous approaches and the one using fuzzy logic. Results from the simulation show that the direct torque control method using fuzzy logic is more effective in providing a precise and fast response without overshooting, and it eliminates torque and flux fluctuations at low switching frequencies. The demonstrated improvements in dynamic performance contribute to increased operational efficiency and reliability in industrial applications.
Optimization of Modified Sliding Mode Controller for an Electro-hydraulic Act...IJECEIAES
This paper presents the design of the modified sliding mode controller (MSMC) for the purpose of tracking the nonlinear system with mismatched disturbance. Provided that the performance of the designed controller depends on the value of control parameters, gravitational search algorithm (GSA), and particle swarm optimization (PSO) techniques are used to optimize these parameters in order to achieve a predefined system’s performance. In respect of system’s performance, it is evaluated based on the tracking error present between reference inputs transferred to the system and the system output. This is followed by verification of the efficiency of the designed controller in simulation environment under various values, with and without the inclusion of external disturbance. It can be seen from the simulation results that the MSMC with PSO exhibits a better performance in comparison to the performance of the similar controller with GSA in terms of output response and tracking error.

structures, low costs and robust performances. Over the past years, many kind of control methods are
proposed for the induction motors and direct torque control has gained huge importance inside of them due
to fast dynamic torque responses and simple control structures. However, the direct torque control method
has still some handicaps against the other control methods and most of the important of these handicaps is
high torque ripple. This paper suggests a new approach, Fuzzy logic based space vector modulation, on
the direct torque controlled induction motors and aim of the approach is to overcome high torque ripple
disadvantages of conventional direct torque control. In order to test and compare the proposed direct
torque control method with conventional direct torque control method simulations, in Matlab/Simulink,
have been carried out in different working conditions. The simulation results showed that a significant
improvement in the dynamic torque and speed responses when compared to the conventional direct torque
control method.
This document presents an investigation of the behavior of 3 degree of freedom spring mass damper systems subjected to transient loads. Two models of the spring mass damper system are modeled and their governing equations are derived. The velocities of the oscillators are estimated by solving the governing equations for a loss factor of 0.15. The kinetic and potential energies are calculated using the mass, velocity and stiffness of the oscillators to estimate the total energy. It is found that when the load changes from full to partial over time, there is a significant increase in displacement and velocity, dissipating more energy.

With the advancement in power electronics and digital signal processing(DSP), high capability processors allow the implementation of advanced control techniques for motor drives such as model predictive control (MPC). In this paper, design, analysis and investigation of two different MPC techniques applied to IM drives; themodel predictive torque control (MPTC) and model predictive current control (MPCC) are presented. The two techniques are designed in Matlab/Simulink environment and compared interm of operation in different operating conditions. Moreover, a comparisonof these techniques with field-oriented control (FOC) and direct torque control (DTC) is conducted based on simulation studies with PI speed controller for all control techniques. Based on the analysis, the MPC techniques demonstrates a better result compared with the FOC and DTC in terms of speed, torque and current responses in transient and steady-state conditions.

This paper presents the assessment of stability domains for the angle stability condition of the power system using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) technique. An efficient optimization method using PSO for synchronizing torque coefficients Ksand damping torque coefficients Kd to identify the angle stability condition on multi-machine system. In order to accelerate the determination of angle stability, PSO is proposed to be implemented in this study. The application of the proposed algorithm has been justified as the most accurate with lower computation time as compared to other optimization techniques such as Evolutionary Programming (EP) and Artificial Immune System (AIS). Validation with respect to eigenvalues determination, Least Square (LS) method and minimum damping ratio ξmin confirmed that the proposed technique is feasible to solve the angle stability problems.

Sensor fault reconstruction for wind turbine benchmark model using a modified...IJECEIAES
This paper proposes a fault diagnosis scheme applied to a wind turbine system. The technique used is based on a modified sliding mode observer (SMO), which permits the reconstruction of actuator and sensor faults. A wind turbine benchmark with a real sequence of wind speed is exploited to validate the proposed fault detection and diagnosis scheme. Rotor speed, generator speed, blade pitch angle, and generator torque have different orders of magnitude. As a result, the dedicated sensors are susceptible to faults of quite varying magnitudes, and estimating simultaneous sensor faults with accuracy using a classical SMO is difficult. To address this issue, some modifications are made to the classic SMO. In order to test the efficiency of the modified SMO, several sensor fault scenarios have been simulated, first in the case of separate faults and then in the case of simultaneous faults. The simulation results show that the sensor faults are isolated, detected, and reconstructed accurately in the case of separate faults. In the case of simultaneous faults, with the proposed modification of SMO, the faults are precisely isolated, detected, and reconstructed, even though they have quite different amplitudes; thus, the relative gap does not exceed 0.08% for the generator speed sensor fault.
Induction motor is a veritable machine in the industries today, since is the most widely used electric motor in the
industry. It offers a reasonable performance, manageable torque/speed characteristics and a better efficiency. The aim of this
paper is to examine a comparative analysis of a three phase induction motor for performance evaluation. The computer simulation
and experimental methods were used to carry out the investigations, validation and evaluation of the behavioural characteristics of
the machine. The simulation and experimental results obtained were compared to validate the results obtained from the
experimental method. It was shown that the results from the simulation and experimental methods were in agreement with the
theoretical values of the three phase induction motor. Thus, the results indicated that the relative errors were negligible and the
proposed simulation models accurately predict the equivalent circuit parameters of the induction motor.

A program was developed in the package of symbolic transformations Maple. It provides automatic analytical transformation and derivation of formulas and plotting of the main characteristics of induction motors (IM) in a convenient form for an electrical engineer and student: torque=f(slip) T=f(s), angular speed=f(Torque) ω=f(T), angular speed=f(Current) ω=f(I), current=f(slip) I=f(s); cos(φ) and phase angle (phi) φ for stator currents and rotor currents, and magnetizing circuit, machine efficiency η=f(s) and a number of other characteristics. The calculation is based on the equivalent circuit of IM motors in its different variants: with one cage in the rotor, with two or more cages in the rotor, taking into account the skin effect in the rotor rods and without it. The user can build up the equivalent circuit to the desired configuration. The algorithm of further transformations is based on analytical obtaining of amplitude/frequency and phase/frequency characteristics in the nodes of the equivalent circuits with further calculation by power and slip. Online animation of the graphs with alternate variations of all resistances R and inductances L values of the model is provided. The article contains screenshots of important parts of the programs and illustrates the complete set of graphs.

This document evaluates the fatigue life of a suspension knuckle using multibody simulation techniques. It describes using a multibody simulation to extract load time histories from a road bump profile input. Finite element analysis is then used to determine stress distributions and maximum principal stresses in the knuckle under the simulated loads. A strain-life fatigue analysis method is applied to predict the fatigue life. Mesh sensitivity analysis is performed. The results found that the steering link region of the knuckle is most susceptible to fatigue failure. The predicted fatigue life of the knuckle is approximately 371 times encountering the road bump profile at 40 km/hr with a 50% probability of survival.

White layer thickness (WLT) formed and surface roughness in wire electric discharge turning (WEDT) of tungsten carbide composite has been made to model through response surface methodology (RSM). A Taguchi’s standard Design of experiments involving five input variables with three levels has been employed to establish a mathematical model between input parameters and responses. Percentage of cobalt content, spindle speed, Pulse on-time, wire feed and pulse off-time were changed during the experimental tests based on the Taguchi’s orthogonal array L27 (3^13). Analysis of variance (ANOVA) revealed that the mathematical models obtained can adequately describe performance within the parameters of the factors considered. There was a good agreement between the experimental and predicted values in this study.

Data were collected through a structured questionnaire containing a five point Likert Scale. The study examined the data of 30 transgender entrepreneurs in Salem Municipal Corporation of Tamil Nadu State, India. Simple Random sampling technique was used. Garrett Ranking Technique (Percentile Position, Mean Scores) was used as the analysis for the present study to identify the top 13 stimulus factors for establishment of trans entrepreneurial venture. Economic advancement of a nation is governed upon the upshot of a resolute entrepreneurial doings. The conception of entrepreneurship has stretched and materialized to the socially deflated uncharted sections of transgender community. Presently transgenders have smashed their stereotypes and are making recent headlines of achievements in various fields of our Indian society. VOICE BASED ATM FOR VISUALLY IMPAIRED USING ARDUINOIAEME Publication
The prototype of a voice-based ATM for visually impaired using Arduino is to help people who are blind. This uses RFID cards which contain users fingerprint encrypted on it and interacts with the users through voice commands. ATM operates when sensor detects the presence of one person in the cabin. After scanning the RFID card, it will ask to select the mode like –normal or blind. User can select the respective mode through voice input, if blind mode is selected the balance check or cash withdraw can be done through voice input. Normal mode procedure is same as the existing ATM.

Using the exploratory research design and 255 participants the result of this original study indicates strong positive correlation between emotional intelligence and effective human resource management. The main objective of this study is to analyze the impact of aspects of Organizational Culture on the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System (PMS) in the Health Care Organization at Thanjavur. Organizational Culture and PMS play a crucial role in present-day organizations in achieving their objectives. PMS needs employees’ cooperation to achieve its intended objectives. Employees' cooperation depends upon the organization’s culture. The present study uses exploratory research to examine the relationship between the Organization's culture and the Effectiveness of the Performance Management System. The study uses a Structured Questionnaire to collect the primary data. For this study, Thirty-six non-clinical employees were selected from twelve randomly selected Health Care organizations at Thanjavur. Thirty-two fully completed questionnaires were received.

The goal of this study was to see how talent management affected employee retention in the selected IT organizations in Chennai. The fundamental issue was the difficulty to attract, hire, and retain talented personnel who perform well and the gap between supply and demand of talent acquisition and retaining them within the firms. The study's main goals were to determine the impact of talent management on employee retention in IT companies in Chennai, investigate talent management strategies that IT companies could use to improve talent acquisition, performance management, career planning and formulate retention strategies that the IT firms could use. The respondents were given a structured close-ended questionnaire with the 5 Point Likert Scale as part of the study's quantitative research design. The target population consisted of 289 IT professionals. The questionnaires were distributed and collected by the researcher directly. The Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to collect and analyse the questionnaire responses. Hypotheses that were formulated for the various areas of the study were tested using a variety of statistical tests. The key findings of the study suggested that talent management had an impact on employee retention. The studies also found that there is a clear link between the implementation of talent management and retention measures. Management should provide enough training and development for employees, clarify job responsibilities, provide adequate remuneration packages, and recognise employees for exceptional performance.

It is costly to replace unskilled employees with IT professionals possessing technical skills and competencies that aid in interconnecting the business processes. The organization’s employment tactics were forced to alter by globalization along with technological innovations as they consistently diminish to remain lean, outsource to concentrate on core competencies along with restructuring/reallocate personnel to gather efficiency. Only 303 respondents were collected out of 350 participants to whom questionnaires were distributed. From the employees of IT organizations located in Bangalore (India), the data were congregated. A simple random sampling methodology was employed to congregate data as of the respondents. Generating the hypothesis along with testing is eventuated. The effect of EI and TM along with regression analysis between TM and EI was analyzed. The asset quality of banks is one of the most important indicators of their financial health. The Indian banking sector has been facing severe problems of increasing Non- Performing Assets (NPAs). The NPAs growth directly and indirectly affects the quality of assets and profitability of banks. It also shows the efficiency of banks credit risk management and the recovery effectiveness. NPA do not generate any income, whereas, the bank is required to make provisions for such as assets that why is a double edge weapon. This paper outlines the concept of quality of bank loans of different types like Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of selected public and private sector banks. This study is highlighting problems associated with the role of commercial bank in financing Small and Medium Scale Enterprises (SME). The overall objective of the research was to assess the effect of the financing provisions existing for the setting up and operations of MSMEs in the country and to generate recommendations for more robust financing mechanisms for successful operation of the MSMEs, in turn understanding the impact of MSME loans on financial institutions due to NPA. There are many research conducted on the topic of Non- Performing Assets (NPA) Management, concerning particular bank, comparative study of public and private banks etc. In this paper the researcher is considering the aggregate data of selected public sector and private sector banks and attempts to compare the NPA of Housing, Agriculture and MSME loans in state Haryana of public and private sector banks. The tools used in the study are average and Anova test and variance. The findings reveal that NPA is common problem for both public and private sector banks and is associated with all types of loans either that is housing loans, agriculture loans and loans to SMES. NPAs of both public and private sector banks show the increasing trend. In 2010-11 GNPA of public and private sector were at same level it was 2% but after 2010-11 it increased in many fold and at present there is GNPA in some more than 15%. It shows the dark area of Indian banking sector.

An experiment conducted in this study found that BaSO4 changed Nylon 6's mechanical properties. By changing the weight ratios, BaSO4 was used to make Nylon 6. This Researcher looked into how hard Nylon-6/BaSO4 composites are and how well they wear. Experiments were done based on Taguchi design L9. Nylon-6/BaSO4 composites can be tested for their hardness number using a Rockwell hardness testing apparatus. On Nylon/BaSO4, the wear behavior was measured by a wear monitor, pinon-disc friction by varying reinforcement, sliding speed, and sliding distance, and the microstructure of the crack surfaces was observed by SEM. This study provides significant contributions to ultimate strength by increasing BaSO4 content up to 16% in the composites, and sliding speed contributes 72.45% to the wear rate

So, the Social Entrepreneurs have the huge growth potential particularly in the developing countries like India where we have huge societal disparities in terms of the financial positions of the population. Still 22 percent of the Indian population is below the poverty line and also there is disparity among the rural & urban population in terms of families living under BPL. 25.7 percent of the rural population & 13.7 percent of the urban population is under BPL which clearly shows the disparity of the poor people in the rural and urban areas. The need to develop social entrepreneurship in agriculture is dictated by a large number of social problems. Such problems include low living standards, unemployment, and social tension. The reasons that led to the emergence of the practice of social entrepreneurship are the above factors. The research problem lays upon disclosing the importance of role of social entrepreneurship in rural development of India. The paper the tendencies of social entrepreneurship in India, to present successful examples of such business for providing recommendations how to improve situation in rural areas in terms of social entrepreneurship development. OPTIMAL RECONFIGURATION OF POWER DISTRIBUTION RADIAL NETWORK USING HYBRID MET...IAEME Publication
Distribution system is a critical link between the electric power distributor and the consumers. Most of the distribution networks commonly used by the electric utility is the radial distribution network. However in this type of network, it has technical issues such as enormous power losses which affect the quality of the supply. Nowadays, the introduction of Distributed Generation (DG) units in the system help improve and support the voltage profile of the network as well as the performance of the system components through power loss mitigation. In this study network reconfiguration was done using two meta-heuristic algorithms Particle Swarm Optimization and Gravitational Search Algorithm (PSO-GSA) to enhance power quality and voltage profile in the system when simultaneously applied with the DG units. Backward/Forward Sweep Method was used in the load flow analysis and simulated using the MATLAB program. Five cases were considered in the Reconfiguration based on the contribution of DG units. The proposed method was tested using IEEE 33 bus system. Based on the results, there was a voltage profile improvement in the system from 0.9038 p.u. to 0.9594 p.u.. The integration of DG in the network also reduced power losses from 210.98 kW to 69.3963 kW. Simulated results are drawn to show the performance of each case.

In this paper, we investigated a queuing model of fuzzy environment-based a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) and study its performance under realistic conditions. It applies a nonagonal fuzzy number to analyse the relevant performance of a multiple channel queuing model (M/M/C) ( /FCFS). Based on the sub interval average ranking method for nonagonal fuzzy number, we convert fuzzy number to crisp one. Numerical results reveal that the efficiency of this method. Intuitively, the fuzzy environment adapts well to a multiple channel queuing models (M/M/C) ( /FCFS) are very well.
