  • 3. Button Badge Designs Here are three things you need to be aware of when designing button badges: 1. Keep it simple 2. Keep it to three (3) colours 3. Keep the design within the circle
  • 4. Circles! • With one of the blank A4 papers you have, draw 30 circles • For this next task, those 30 circles are button badges and you will have one minute to fill them all in with a design. • Are you ready? • Go!
  • 5. Let's talk about it How many were able to finish the task? Please raise your hands in the session Please lower your hands. Who thought it was easy? Who thought it was difficult?

  • 8. Topic: Divergent thinking Divergent thinking is the ability to think widely as opposed to narrow The goal is to come up with as many possibilities rather than focus to a single option
  • 9. Task: Paperclip Challenge Imagine a paperclip Now, take two (2) minutes to think of as many uses for that paperclip as possible and write them down
  • 12. Group Discussion According to the colour you picked to write your name, please join one of the groups to work on a compiled list The documents are currently being shared in the chat and you can work on them together

  • 16. Bringing it all together Assessment doesn't need to be tedious or boring Assessments don't have to be complicated or time-consuming Assessments are meant to inform both teacher and learner in order to promote learning
  • 17. But most important in the assessment process are the learners and you the instructor
