  • 5. Five Questions! 1. Why? What is the purpose of the questions and why are you asking them? 2. What? What questions do you want to ask? 3. How? What strategy will you use to ask the questions? How will learners answer? 4. When? How long will you give for thinking time? 5. And learners answer! 6. Next? What happens after the question/s? This is the homepage to follow the sequence of the tool questions. If you get lost, use the hyperlink!
  • 6. 1.Why? What is the purpose of the questions and why are you asking them? Check understanding Probe further to assess what they have understood. Remember Bloom’s taxonomy may help with higher order questions. Consolidate learning Re-question and go back over knowledge and understanding to evaluate or analyse learning. Review knowledge What do learners know already or what did they learn in the last lesson?
