Summer of Reading
The Library @ MMRHS
What’s a Good Book To Read
This Summer? Any Book.
Summer is a great time to get caught up reading. It is also a
good time to get lost in a new book. This year’s Summer
Reading at Monument Mountain Regional High School focuses
on allowing you to select your own books. There is a list of
books recommended by MMRHS teachers (and you earn the
most points for reading those titles!) and you can choose your
own books from a list of unique parameters.
See the options for book choices on Page 2 and teacher
recommended books on Pages 3 and 4.
Most of all, have fun and READ!

Win Prizes!
This summer, for each book
you read and record in your
reading log, you earn points.
The more points you
accumulate, the better the prize
you could earn.
Think of it like going to the
arcade, the more tickets you
get, the better the prize.
The more books you read, the
better your mind will be.
See the Prize list on Page 5

How Do I Select My Books?
The challenge is on! How many points can you earn this summer while
reading? Keep track of the books you read and the points that each book is
worth in the Reading Log. Earning different levels of points will earn you
certain prizes. Return your Reading Log to Mrs. Staunton in September and
claim your prize!

Summer reading newsletter

  • 1. the Summer of Reading The Library @ MMRHS What’s a Good Book To Read This Summer? Any Book. Summer is a great time to get caught up reading. It is also a good time to get lost in a new book. This year’s Summer Reading at Monument Mountain Regional High School focuses on allowing you to select your own books. There is a list of books recommended by MMRHS teachers (and you earn the most points for reading those titles!) and you can choose your own books from a list of unique parameters. See the options for book choices on Page 2 and teacher recommended books on Pages 3 and 4. Most of all, have fun and READ! Mrs. Staunton kara.staunton-shron@bhrsd.org https://sites.google.com/site/monumentmountainlibrary/ Twitter: @mmrhslibrary 2 0 1 3 Win Prizes! This summer, for each book you read and record in your reading log, you earn points. The more points you accumulate, the better the prize you could earn. Think of it like going to the arcade, the more tickets you get, the better the prize. The more books you read, the better your mind will be. See the Prize list on Page 5
  • 2. THE LIBRARY @ MMRHS SUMMER 2013 How Do I Select My Books? The challenge is on! How many points can you earn this summer while reading?
