– Assign, identify and/or recognize people as Data Stewards
– A role for everybody who has a relationship to data.
– Formalize existing accountability wherever possible.
• The treat you will receive by Governing Roles:
– People will be more excepting of Data Governance in general.
– People will see themselves in their roles.
– People will not be given the option of “opting out”.
