community such as people with disability and mental illness, women, children and community as large, towards inclusion
into development process. My operational area mostly has been Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, besides Maharastra and Uttar
Pradesh, Assam and Chattishgarh.
I have extensive experience in initiating and managing large networks and multiple programmes involving NGOs, CBOs,
Government, and International agencies. I have conducted and lead needs assessment exercise, baseline surveys,
evaluations, and field researches and impact studies. I have high quality training and facilitation skills and involved in
capacity building of community and team to enhance performance and achieve programme objective.
Presently I am based at Hyderabad and directing programme to bring behavior change in the community towards
preventive health care and at the same time advocating with service providers to establish logistics chain in proper order.
In my current position I have been designing training modules and building a core team of trainers to reach to barefoot
workers of community, mostly literate women, to build a cadre of community health facilitators. Through the community
health facilitators, the programme is reaching to nearly four lakhs of rural families to promote health care, hygiene
practices, water and sanitation, immunization and new born care, mother child and adolescent health.
I am an avid trainer and have received and imparted much training. I have received trainings from many including
Sangath, Sanchar network, Action Aid, CBR Forum, RINPAS, just to list a few. I am associated with several networks like
Sochara, NCPEDP, PHRN, etc. The association with networks helped doing advocacy at larger levels and bringing a change.
In these years of professional engagement in development sector I have had the opportunity to work on projects
supported by Sri Dorabjee Tata Trust, ActionAid, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Health Foundation, Big Lottery, DFID, ICCo,
Coca Cola Foundation, Isle of Mann, Misereor. I have also experience to be associated with World Bank, Food and
Agriculture Organisation (FAO&UN), Odisha Livelihood Mission, Jharkhand Health Department, Tata Institute of Social
Studies, CMC Vellore, and Opportunity International.
I have ability to multi task, maintain quality and time, besides to plan and coordinate, set standards, gather knowledge

7. Mobilising Government of Jharkhand and RINPAS (Ranchi Institute of Neuro Psychiatry and Allied Sciences),

I have extensive experience in initiating and managing large networks and multiple programmes involving NGOs, CBOs, Government, and International agencies. I have conducted and lead needs assessment exercise, baseline surveys, evaluations, and field researches and impact studies. I have high quality training and facilitation skills and involved in capacity building of community and team to enhance performance and achieve programme objective. Presently I am based at Hyderabad and directing programme to bring behavior change in the community towards preventive health care and at the same time advocating with service providers to establish logistics chain in proper order. In my current position I have been designing training modules and building a core team of trainers to reach to barefoot workers of community, mostly literate women, to build a cadre of community health facilitators. Through the community health facilitators, the programme is reaching to nearly four lakhs of rural families to promote health care, hygiene practices, water and sanitation, immunization and new born care, mother child and adolescent health. I am an avid trainer and have received and imparted much training. I have received trainings from many including Sangath, Sanchar network, Action Aid, CBR Forum, RINPAS, just to list a few. I am associated with several networks like Sochara, NCPEDP, PHRN, etc. The association with networks helped doing advocacy at larger levels and bringing a change.
