To identify the impacts of integrating social media in language teaching and learning.

To identify the multiple use of social media as a tool of learning that facilitates.
The primary goal of this research was to investigate AOU students' conceptions of the quality of online experience through the learning management system in supporting their classroom tutorials. A 32-item questionnaire was administered to a randomly selected sample (205) of Elementary Education students at the AOU Jordan Branch. On one hand, the results showed that the objectives of the courses were very clear to students, online materials on the learning management system were interesting and supported to classroom learning, students preferred online quizzes, the online materials supported key assessment tasks and tutors provided continuous access to relevant information about assessment. On the other hand, the findings revealed that the online materials and e-activities were too loaded for the students to understand thoroughly, and much of the feedback they received from the tutor was not helpful. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences among students’ views of BL or their overall satisfaction of the online experience that could be attributed to gender or academic achievement level. Results suggest some pedagogical implications for tutors and programmer coordinators.
In this PowerPoint presentation we are going to Summarize two evaluation studies in educational technology. The first summary focuses on the evaluation methodology used, in terms of purpose and instruments. The second focuses on the evaluation of specific technology features.
Participating in a Blog: Jordanian EFL Learners' VoicesYasser Al-Shboul
This study investigates the Jordanian EFL learners’ perceptions towards language learning through blog. It seeks to
assess the usefulness of blogging in enhancing learners’ English language skills. The participants of the present study
included 10 post graduate Jordanian EFL Learners who attended English Intensive Course. Data were collected
through semi-structured interview questions regarding learners’ feedback on their perceptions to the integrated blog.
The data obtained from the semi-structured interview was recorded, transcribed and described by the researchers and
finally analyzed qualitatively. The findings of the study revealed that the learners perceived the blog as an interesting
and helpful learning tool since interacting via blog helped them improve their English language skills as well as their
peer feedback. Hence, the blog played an important role for the Jordanian EFL learners as it allowed them to exchange
their experiences and thoughts with peers. The study concluded that integration of social networks, such as blogs into
Jordanian EFL learners’ classes could enhance their English language learning processes.

Challenges of teaching English to adults: How educators can improve students'...JohannaVivoni
Educational practices have become more diverse after the COVID-19 pandemic. As universities were faced with the challenge of adapting their courses to the distance education modality, English professors needed to understand which strategies could be more effective to improve students’ listening, speaking, writing, and reading skills in the second language.
While research on cognitive and metacognitive abilities of bilingual and biliterate students has been advancing, limited studies have examined these influences in the Arabic context.

Abstract: It is vital to comprehend blended learning, also referred to as hybrid learning, because it is a format now
applied more frequently than ever in virtual classrooms, whether teachers are working as freelance online teachers
or teaching English online with established tutoring companies. The technological developments have allowed for
blended learning and teaching processes in education institutions among learners successfully. Teaching the
English language needs the right processes that would enable learners to effectively capture specific concepts and
ideas in English. This work explores the importance of hybrid teaching methods among English learners by
analyzing blended and hybrid learning and teaching processes. Hybrid coaching approaches are seen as blended
teaching that combines online experiences and one-on-one interaction during the education processes. Over the
years, various foreign language programs have been designed via online classrooms due to the dependence of
online support and educator preparation through substantial studies. Thus, hybrid learning approaches need
proper research and planning to be useful and effective for learners, particularly in learning English. They entail
the development processes of connected communication skills via the support and preparations of educators based
on literature studies. The teaching of the English language among learners is based on language program
directors, literature studies, and professional development in particular contexts as provided. The study examines
the processes and significance of hybrid teaching and learning approaches that allow professional development in
teaching and learning English language among learners. The objective of this work is to motivate foreign language
educators at schools to implement hybrid learning and teaching approaches in their classes to improve student
involvement with English as a foreign language and offer more prospects to practice English outside the
classrooms. I started by describing blended or hybrid learning and some of its strengths, differentiating this mixed
approach from the flipped classrooms.
