Pierce V Society Of Sister Case Summary
The Pierce v. Society of Sisters case established that parents have a right to direct the upbringing and education of their children. Specifically, the US Supreme Court ruled that an Oregon law requiring all children to attend public schools unreasonably interfered with parental liberty and was unconstitutional. The Development Of The Texas Prison System
The Texas prison system began in 1846 with the establishment of the Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville. From the 1860s to 1910s, Texas leased out convicts to private companies, leading to management issues and abuse of prisoners. Prevent Bullying At School
- Bullying occurs in all schools and negatively impacts students' learning and ability to feel safe. It is important for teachers, administrators, parents and students to pay attention to bullying, get involved to address it, and never ignore it.

1. Thank the student for trusting me with this sensitive information and reassure her that her privacy and safety are my top priorities.
2. With the student's permission, document the details of what was reported, including who is circulating the picture, how it is being shared, and any acts of bullying that have occurred.
3. Inform an administrator and request that the student's parents/guardians be notified immediately. The student should not have to handle this alone.

Violence experienced in almost all schools has over the time had adverse effects especially on the students’ moral behavior which shape their future lives. The schools constitute some of the places which have become the breeding ground for violence such as bullying among students. The efforts put by various schools’ stakeholders to offering a lasting remedy does not seem to bear the expected results. It increases at an alarming rate (Cornell, Dewey, et al., pg. 32). Therefore, the following research paper finds how the issue found its place in schools and its consequences among students. It is also interested in assessing the current statistics to show how it has affected different schools.

Dr. Kritsonis has served in professorial roles at Central Washington University, Washington; Salisbury State University, Maryland; Northwestern State University, Louisiana; McNeese State University, Louisiana; and Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge in the Department of Administrative and Foundational Services.
In 2006, Dr. Kritsonis published two articles in the Two-Volume Set of the Encyclopedia of Educational Leadership and Administration published by SAGE Publications, Thousand Oaks, California. He is a National Reviewer for the Journal of Research on Leadership, University Council for Educational Administration (UCEA).
In 2007, Dr. Kritsonis was invited to write a history and philosophy of education for the ABC-CLIO Encyclopedia of World History.
Currently, Dr. Kritsonis is Professor of Educational Leadership at Prairie View A&M University – Member of the Texas A&M University System. He teaches in the PhD Program in Educational Leadership. Dr. Kritsonis taught the Inaugural class session in the doctoral program at the start of the fall 2004 academic year. In October 2006, Dr. Kritsonis chaired the first doctoral student to earn a PhD in Educational Leadership at Prairie View A&M University. He has chaired over 18 doctoral dissertations. This Dissertation explores the particular circumstances of Mirzapur, a region located in the
core of India. Mirzapur, with its varied terrains and abundant biodiversity, offers an optimal
environment for investigating the changes in vegetation cover dynamics. Our study utilizes
advanced technologies such as GIS (Geographic Information Systems) and Remote sensing to
analyze the transformations that have taken place over the course of a decade.
The complex relationship between human activities and the environment has been the focus
of extensive research and worry. As the global community grapples with swift urbanization,
population expansion, and economic progress, the effects on natural ecosystems are becoming
more evident. A crucial element of this impact is the alteration of vegetation cover, which plays a
significant role in maintaining the ecological equilibrium of our planet.Land serves as the foundation for all human activities and provides the necessary materials for
these activities. As the most crucial natural resource, its utilization by humans results in different
'Land uses,' which are determined by both human activities and the physical characteristics of the
land.
The utilization of land is impacted by human needs and environmental factors. In countries
like India, rapid population growth and the emphasis on extensive resource exploitation can lead
to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,
providing crucial environmental data for scientific, resource management, policy purposes, and
diverse human activities.
Accurate understanding of land use and cover is imperative for the development planning
of any area. Consequently, a wide range of professionals, including earth system scientists, land
and water managers, and urban planners, are interested in obtaining data on land use and cover
changes, conversion trends, and other related patterns. The spatial dimensions of land use and
cover support policymakers and scientists in making well-informed decisions, as alterations in
these patterns indicate shifts in economic and social conditions. Monitoring such changes with the
help of Advanced technologies like Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems is
