Presented in January 2016 to Notre Dame College Resident Assistants. This presentation was focused on using the RAs as a focus group to help us discover the fluctuations in student attendance at our events as well to gain their ideas for future programs. Fun fact: Many of the programs that the RAs suggested were programs we have already done or are planning for Spring 2016 semester.

5.  For the next 20 minutes you are Student Engagement Assistants.
 And you have a new staff!
 It’s January 8th and you need to plan a semesters worth of activities. Each group
will be assigned one month or one special topic (3-5 activities).
 Date, location, and time of event
 Marketing (Don’t create a flyer, but how will you publicize, when will you do it, etc. )
 Budgets (You create your own)
 Who is this event for?
 Why this event?
 Any potential collaborators?

6.  The President has heard student’s concerns about there being too much paper
publicity on campus. All paper publicity must now be placed on bulletin boards
ONLY.
 However, the bulletin boards are strategically placed in dimly lit hallways.

7.  One of your group members forget to book the space for your program. You have to
select a new location.
