Prior to starting Strategic Talent Advisors, Helen held leadership positions
with United Airlines, Deloitte Consulting, and Schneider Electric. Helen has a
successful track record creating efficiencies and reducing costs through business-
driven change efforts. At United Airlines, she was recognized for her
achievements in talent management and was awarded the company’s Significant
Contributor Grant, an equity award given to select High Potential / High
Performing employees across the company. At Deloitte, Helen partnered with
some of the world’s largest firms (Pfizer, Bayer, Sprint Nextel, Motorola, Talecris,
Tecumseh Products) to improve business performance by leading the design and
implementation of new strategies, processes, and technologies. She was
selected by the firm’s senior leadership to serve on a number of firm committees
aimed at improving internal processes and building internal talent capability. She
also was instrumental in developing the firm’s Succession Planning service
offering approach, methodology, and tools, including go-to-market strategies,
resulting in increased revenue for the firm. And at Schneider Electric, she led
several large-scale projects delivering an exceptional internal client experience
aligned with business strategy and goals, and transitioned several paper-based
talent management tools to integrated online applications.
Helen has a Master of Science degree in Human Resources Development
from the Illinois Institute of Technology’s Industrial and Organizational Psychology
program. She is a member of the American Psychological Association, the
Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychologists, and the Human
Resources Management Association of Chicago. Helen is accredited in a number
of professional assessments: Hay Group Battery of Assessments, Hogan Battery
of Assessments, Leadership Orientations Questionnaire, FIRO-Element B
Instrument, Character Foundations Assessment, and Personnel Decision
International’s 360 Feedback Process. She is also certified in Change
Management Methodology and Consulting with Implementation Management
Association, Inc.
