3. 3.1 BELIEF IN REVEALED SCRIPTURES
In Islam, the term "Iman" refers to faith or belief in Allah
(God) and the teachings of Islam. The revealed scriptures in
Iman are considered sacred texts that contain divine
guidance and are believed to have been directly revealed by
Allah to His messengers.
The primary and most authoritative scripture in Iman is the
Quran. Muslims believe that the Quran is the literal word of
Allah, as revealed to the Prophet Muhammad through the
angel Gabriel over approximately 23 years.

revealed scriptures that hold
significance within the Islamic
tradition. These include:
Hadith: Hadith refers to the recorded

Prophet Muhammad.

•Believing in the Quran, Sunnah, Hadiths, Tafsir, Fiqh, and
Sirah is essential for Muslims as they form the pillars of
Iman. These sources provide divine guidance,

9. Ways of handling Hadith, Sunah, Tafsir, fiqh,
and Quran scriptures and how to show

handle Hadith properly, several key principles
are followed:

10. HANDLING SUNNAH
•Sunnah refers to the actions, practices, and approvals
of Prophet Muhammad that serve as a model for
Muslims to follow. Handling Sunnah involves similar
principles as handling Hadith since Sunnah is
primarily transmitted through Hadith collections. The
authentication, classification, interpretation,
comparative analysis, and application of Sunnah
follow the same guidelines as Hadith.

11. HANDLING TAFSIR
Tafsir refers to the interpretation and
explanation of the Quranic text. It aims
to uncover the intended meaning of
verses and provide context for their
application. Scholars employ various

26. 3.2 ULUL-AZM PROPHETS
Qualities of Ulul-AZM
Ulul-Azm Prophets are. In Islamic tradition,
Ulul-Azm Prophets are considered to be the five
greatest and most steadfast prophets sent by
Allah (God) to guide humanity. They are Noah
(Nuh), Abraham (Ibrahim), Moses (Musa), Jesus
(Isa), and Muhammad.

27. The Ulul-Azm Prophets brought a
universal message of monotheism,
righteousness, and accountability to
all of humanity.
The Ulul-Azm Prophets showed
immense mercy and compassion
towards all creation.

28. The Ulul-Azm Prophets faced numerous
trials and tribulations throughout their
lives but remained patient and persevered
in fulfilling their mission.
The Ulul-Azm Prophets possessed
profound knowledge and wisdom, which
they used to guide their communities.

devoted to worshiping Allah through
prayer, fasting, charity, pilgrimage, and

Allah granted the Ulul-Azm Prophets

Muslims learn numerous valuable lessons from the
Ulul-Azm Prophets. These lessons include the

31. THE TEACHINGS FROM THE STORIES OF
NABII MUSAAND ISSA (A.S.)
One of the key teachings from the story of Nabii

Another significant lesson from the story of Nabii
Musa is the virtue of patience.
The story of Issa (Jesus) offers teachings centered
around love, compassion, and forgiveness. Issa
emphasized the importance of treating others with
kindness and empathy.
