I am a highly committed and dedicated supervisor with over five years of team leadership in a
fast paced national distribution hub. I prioritize the health, safety and motivation of my team to
ensure a continuously safe and productive environment looking after my team and our
customers.
I embrace change and am continuously looking for new ways to improve operational
processes. For example I was part of a team that designed, trialed and implemented a multi
million pound investment in a new automatic parcel sorter.
I am willing and ready to start from scratch and learn all I can about the business and do what
is necessary to full fill my role within the company.

I am currently working for BDA as a warehouse/maintenance person I enjoy my role as
it changes everyday. I am learning more about the business all the time I work with a
great team of people that have a great knowledge of the over parcel industry.

Supervisor April 2009 – December 2014
Day to day running of a team of seventy five operatives ensuring that productivity, labour cost
and safety targets are met. I work closely with the operations manager and am often
entrusted to take full ownership of the shift. I am also entrusted as a health and safety trainer
providing manual handling training to the workforce. I have also been a fork lift truck driver for
the past five years while working with City-link ensuring that all employees use the correct
procedures when operating a Flt.

2. Various Operational roles August 2003 – April 2009
Gaining experience in a multitude of operational roles including warehouse work, delivery van
driving and Forklift Truck work I enjoyed the learning this provided which including stock
taking, picking and packing, working on a mechanised conveyor systems. This provided
extensive warehouse and customer facing experience.
Sunlight Laundry February 2000 – February 2003
Working in a laundry sorting room I experience hands on operational work. My individual
target was to load twenty eight washing machine per hour ensuring the goods were washed
and dried at the right temperature. This was fast paced, target lead work which focused on a
streamlined, lean operation of which I was a key player.
