Warehouse Supervisor
In August 2012, I commenced work with Simon National Carriers in their warehouse at Yennora.
Eighteen months later, we relocated to Moorebank to a bigger and better site.
In this role I am required to lead a small team in despatch and also help look after some major
customers such as Kone, Prysmian, Daikin and Trailer Camper Tents.
On a daily basis I liaise with freight forwarder companies regarding container timeslots and empty
container pickups. This also includes shipping clerk tasks such as timeslots, container ETA, pre-alerts
and EDO’s.
I assist in updating stock levels and fill out connotes for 7 different customers and fill out a storage
charges spreadsheet.
It is a very hands on role as I help my team unload containers and scanning orders in and out as well
as loading trucks when required.
Despatch Supervisor
In October 2007, I commenced work with Gramline in their Warehouse at Smithfield as a Despatch
Officer. Within 12 months I was promoted to Despatch Supervisor, heading a team of 6 employees.
In this role I was required to organise the Despatch Department’s workday, allocating jobs, deliveries,
and timeframes. I ensured company policy and procedures were communicated and maintained.
I was also responsible for stock control (including inventory management using the RF Gun), filling
and packing customer orders (local, country and interstate destinations), labelling packaging, and
serving customers face-to-face.
As a Supervisor, I am committed to the safety of my team. As a result, in 2010, I was asked by
management to revise and update the company WHS policy and implement weekly WHS toolbox
talks.
CNC Machinist
In 2007, I was engaged by Intelmail Explorenet to manufacture steel parts for mail sorting machines.
I received on the job training which I understood and was working unsupervised shortly after.
This role involved understanding Fanuc controlled programming, reading 3 dimensional drawings,
measuring parts using a Vernia, adjusting settings on the milling / lathe machine (based on tool types
and heights), machining Jaws based on size of parts, and deburring parts.
As part of quality control, I performed regular checks to ensure I minimised waste and created a
quality.
Removalist
In August 2004, I started my own company as a domestic pre-packing service. This included
wrapping & packing goods into boxes, loading goods onto transport (minimising space wastage),
dealing directly with customers (building rapport and answering customer enquiries), and invoicing.
I ran this business successfully for three and a half years before moving into salaried employment.

Assistant Store Manager
In April 2004 I commenced as a trainee assistant store manager at Bass Hill Red Rooster.
In this role I learned many skills including supervising staff, customer service, food preparation,
stocktaking and cash till reconciliations.
With tight deadlines, I was able to meet business requirements and service customer needs without
any problem.
Warehousing Assistant Technician
In 1999, I was employed by Wellman Packaging to maintain injection moulding machines. The role
included supervising staff, operating injection moulding equipment (including performing colour
changes), servicing equipment and general repairs, forklift driving, receiving goods as well as
packaging and loading.
Senior Storeman
Stoddard Metal Building Products engaged me as a Senior Storeman to ensure all customer orders
were filled. This required liaising with suppliers, regular stock checks, packing orders, notifying
customers, as well as loading goods onto delivery trucks.
I believe my ‘people skills’ enhanced the customer experience as well as negotiating timeframes with
suppliers.
Warehouse Manager
In this role I was responsible for stock control, ordering, forklift operations, packaging, and filling
orders. I also underwent Small Business Management training, which instructed me in general office
duties including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
Apprentice Chef
In 1993, I commenced work as an apprentice chef, following my passion for cooking. This involved
