Lakeland Union High School The State of the School Report!!
Our Successes in ’08-’09 Curricular Activities Academics Fine/Arts : Class of 2009  -  2 National Merit Scholarship Finalists   Tori Law and Michael Hebert VAC –  10  1 st  Place Regional Champions   10  State Qualifiers All-State WIAA  – Scholar Athletes –  Daniel Congdon and Nicole Semmerling DECA  123 members - 29 Leadership Certificates Earned,   3 Advanced Leadership Certificates Earned. Over 20 participants receiving awards at District  Competition, 1 state champion, 7 qualifying for International DECA Competition.
Our Successes in ’08-’09 Curricular Activities Academics Fine/Arts : LUHS Forensics –  On Friday, April 17 th , the LUHS  Forensics team traveled to Madison and  participated in the annual State Speech Festival.  Of the 13 students that performed, 12 earned  scores that earned medals.  83.5% of seniors graduated  - 54% to 4 year colleges,   16% to 2 year colleges and 15% technical  colleges and training.  Math League  - Central WI Mathematics League Champions.  FBLA  – 4 State Qualifiers!

Our Successes in ’08-’09 Curricular Activities Academics Fine/Arts : Class of 2009 -  2 National Merit Scholarship Finalists Tori Law and Michael Hebert VAC – 10 1 st Place Regional Champions 10 State Qualifiers All-State WIAA – Scholar Athletes – Daniel Congdon and Nicole Semmerling DECA 123 members - 29 Leadership Certificates Earned, 3 Advanced Leadership Certificates Earned. Over 20 participants receiving awards at District Competition, 1 state champion, 7 qualifying for International DECA Competition.

Our Successes in ’08-’09 Curricular Activities Academics Fine/Arts : LUHS Forensics – On Friday, April 17 th , the LUHS Forensics team traveled to Madison and participated in the annual State Speech Festival. Of the 13 students that performed, 12 earned scores that earned medals. 83.5% of seniors graduated - 54% to 4 year colleges,  16% to 2 year colleges and 15% technical colleges and training. Math League - Central WI Mathematics League Champions. FBLA – 4 State Qualifiers!
