n Summer School Principal – Used discernment, discipline, and decision-making when
attending to the details of planning, organizing and supervising Summer School during the
past three summers. Took leadership role for the Principal. In charge of placing the right
teachers on the bus to effectively influence student engagement. Instructionally led as many
as 60 teachers, assistants, and support staff as they served as many as 1000 students in
their acceleration and remedial needs.
n Math CADRE – Served with fellow High School APs as Math Instructional Leaders, using the
Continuous Improvement Model and Wagner’s Seven Disciplines for Strengthening
Instruction to help teachers move from mechanical use to integration of the CPM Math
curriculum and assist our lowest quartile students.
n Science Leadership Academy – Served with fellow High School APs as Science Instructional
Leaders, increasing FCAT Science program fidelity through effective planning, pacing, study
team strategies and questioning techniques. Made decisions that impacted instruction,
curriculum, student learning, assessment and accountability. Specifically worked to increase
FCAT Science scores.

Representative 2007-2008 – I served the administrators of SCPS by promoting a positive

educational issues.
