Research projects allow an empire to unlock new technologies and maintain an advantage over rivals. There are three branches of research: Military, Economy, and Science. A home planet is the core of an empire and losing it will make the population very unhappy, potentially leading to unrest and rebellion. A planet's stats like population and resources directly influence its industrial output and ability to support inhabitants. Stationed units can be moved from a colony by selecting their icon and right clicking where to move them.

Office of Naval Research Innovation Newsletter | June 2010johnohab
The Spring 2010 edition of the Office of Naval Research's Innovation Newsletter explores the increasingly important paradigm of "open innovation," which is based on the idea that organizations can and should innovate by drawing from external sources of knowledge.
In the newsletter below, you'll find an article capturing the entrepreneurial spirit that drives Open Innovation forward co-authored by three professors from the Naval Postgraduate School of Business; an article focused on core social technologies and their role in crowd sourcing, intra-government collaboration, and citizen science; an article on massive multiplayer games and insight generation; and an article on Open Innovation and lessons learned within a specific Naval science and technology community of interest.
The Innovation Newsletter is published quarterly and covers a variety of exciting topics. It include articles from scientists, engineers, warfighters, professors, program officers, and others, all sharing their insights and research on a particular field of interest.
The Apollo Foundation is a hypothetical non-profit that would focus on building the groundwork for a spacefaring human civilization. My dream is to start this one day with my own money and that of other supporters. Always looking for feedback!
How does mindfulness keep your organization's business model relevant today in your marketplace? How mindful are you in managing your energy and those of your team in keeping them motivated to perform in these times of acceleration? How do you empower your people to be mindfully engaged in updating their skills and capabilities and applying these with business impact? How do you mindfully measure behaviour shifts that affect key business metrics? Shift your lens on mindfulness in your business, and see the difference.
