2. Keliber
Keliber Ltd. aims to become the first European company to
produce highpurity lithium carbonate, generating added value
for its owners while at the same time paying close attention to
the social acceptability of its operations both in the immediate
neighbourhood and in society at large.
The company has a valid mining license for a deposit in Western Finland. The company’s goal
is to produce 6 000 tonnes of lithium carbonate per year, as allowed for under the existing en-
vironmental license.
