This presentation covers the design of several reports in SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and PerformancePoint (PPS) that analyze overhead costs and labor costs. It includes the design of an overhead cost report, a labor report by employee, a scorecard showing job financial KPIs, a line chart of overhead costs by quarter, an analytic grid of labor costs by employee and project, and MDX queries used to retrieve the data. Parameters are used to filter the labor report and allow viewing costs for a specific date range an employee worked.
