Square Pharmaceuticals Kenya EPZ Ltd. is establishing a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Kenya in three phases. Phase 1 will produce oral solid dosage forms (tablets and capsules) with an investment of $25 million USD. Future phases will produce oral liquids (Phase 2, $10 million investment) and sterile injectables (Phase 3, $45 million investment). The facility aims to enhance local medicine production and reduce import dependency in Kenya. It will employ over 1,000 people once fully operational.
