The document discusses sparse matrices and their efficient representation. It defines a sparse matrix as one with very few non-zero elements, so representing it as a standard 2D array wastes space storing many zero values. More efficient representations of sparse matrices include storing only the non-zero elements and their indices in a triplet format, or using a linked list structure with one list per row containing (column, value) node pairs. Examples of each approach are provided.

Multiplication of two 3 d sparse matrices using 1d arrays and linked listsDr Sandeep Kumar Poonia
A basic algorithm of 3D sparse matrix multiplication (BASMM) is presented using one dimensional (1D) arrays which is used further for multiplying two 3D sparse matrices using Linked Lists. In this algorithm, a general concept is derived in which we enter non- zeros elements in 1st and 2nd sparse matrices (3D) but store that values in 1D arrays and linked lists so that zeros could be removed or ignored to store in memory. The positions of that non-zero value are also stored in memory like row and column position. In this way space complexity is decreased. There are two ways to store the sparse matrix in memory. First is row major order and another is column major order. But, in this algorithm, row major order is used. Now multiplying those two matrices with the help of BASMM algorithm, time complexity also decreased. For the implementation of this, simple c programming and concepts of data structures are used which are very easy to understand for everyone.

Homework Assignment – Array Technical Document
Write a technical document that describes the structure and use of arrays. The document should
be 3 to 5 pages and include an Introduction section, giving a brief synopsis of the document and
arrays, a Body section, describing arrays and giving an annotated example of their use as a
programming construct, and a conclusion to revisit important information about arrays described
in the Body of the document. Some suggested material to include:
Declaring arrays of various types
Array pointers
Printing and processing arrays
Sorting and searching arrays
Multidimensional arrays
Indexing arrays of various dimension
Array representation in memory by data type
Passing arrays as arguments
If you find any useful images on the Internet, you can use them as long as you cite the source in
end notes.
Solution
Array is a collection of variables of the same type that are referenced by a common name.
Specific elements or variables in the array are accessed by means of index into the array.
If taking about C, In C all arrays consist of contiguous memory locations. The lowest address
corresponds to the first element in the array while the largest address corresponds to the last
element in the array.
C supports both single and multi-dimensional arrays.
1) Single Dimension Arrays:-
Syntax:- type var_name[size];
where type is the type of each element in the array, var_name is any valid identifier, and size is
the number of elements in the array which has to be a constant value.
*Array always use zero as index to first element.
The valid indices for array above are 0 .. 4, i.e. 0 .. number of elements - 1
For Example :- To load an array with values 0 .. 99
int x[100] ;
int i ;
for ( i = 0; i < 100; i++ )
x[i] = i ;
To determine to size of an array at run time the sizeof operator is used. This returns the size in
bytes of its argument. The name of the array is given as the operand
size_of_array = sizeof ( array_name ) ;
2) Initialisg array:-
Arrays can be initialised at time of declaration in the following manner.
type array[ size ] = { value list };
For Example :-
int i[5] = {1, 2, 3, 4, 5 } ;
i[0] = 1, i[1] = 2, etc.
The size specification in the declaration may be omitted which causes the compiler to count the
number of elements in the value list and allocate appropriate storage.
For Example :- int i[ ] = { 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 } ;
3) Multidimensional array:-
Multidimensional arrays of any dimension are possible in C but in practice only two or three
dimensional arrays are workable. The most common multidimensional array is a two
dimensional array for example the computer display, board games, a mathematical matrix etc.
Syntax :type name [ rows ] [ columns ] ;
For Example :- 2D array of dimension 2 X 3.
int d[ 2 ] [ 3 ] ;
A two dimensional array is actually an array of arrays, in the above case an array of two integer
arrays (the rows) each with three elements, and is stored row-wise in memory.
For Example :- Program to fill .

Introduction to tensor decomposition (テンソル分解入門)
Basics of tensor decomposition (テンソル分解の基礎)
In MATLAB, a vector is created by assigning the elements of the vector to a variable. This can be done in several ways depending on the source of the information.
—Enter an explicit list of elements
—Load matrices from external data files
—Using built-in functions
—Using own functions in M-files
The topic of assignment is a critical problem in mathematics and is further explored in the real
physical world. We try to implement a replacement method during this paper to solve assignment problems with
algorithm and solution steps. By using new method and computing by existing two methods, we analyse a

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed.It is also Faster and more efficient way.

Sparse matrix and its representation

2. Sparse matrix and its representation
Matrics play a very important role in solving many
interesting problem in various scientific and
engineering application. It is therefore necessary for us
to design efficient representation for matrices.
Normally matrices are represented in a two
dimensional array. In a matrix, if there are m rows and
n columns and then the space required to store the
numbers will be m*n*s where s is the number of bytes
required to store the value. Suppose there are 10 rows
and 10 columns and we have to store the integer values
then the space complexity will be bytes.
10*10*2=200 bytes.
3. Sparse Matrices
• Sparse matrix … many elements are zero means sparse
matrix has very few non zero elements
• Time complexity of the matrix will be O(n^2),because
the operations that are carried out on matrices need to
sces one row at a time and individual columns in that
row, results in use of two nested loops,
• Example: if the matrix is of size 100*100and only 10
elements are non zero. Then for accessing these 10
elements one has to make 10000 times scan. also only
10 spaces will be with non zero elements remaining
space of matrix will be filled with zeros only. i.e. we
have to allocate the memory of 100*100*2=2000.
4. Representation of sparse matrix:
• The representation of sparse matrix will be a triplet
only.
• In the sense that basically the sparse matrix means
very few non zero elements having in it rest of the
spaces are having the values zero which are
basically useless values or simply empty values.so in
this efficient representation we will consider all the
non zero value along with their positions. in a row
wise representation of spare matrix (sparse matrix
is 2D matrix) the 0th row will store total rows of the
matrix, total column of the matrix and total non
zero value
