†† Designed solution for customer to utilize existing solid state FC drives to improve DB
performance during the holiday season without new cost expenditures and extensive application
rewrites that could not have been performed in time. After implementation, discovered new
bottlenecks at the network layer with the customer’s preferred hardware choice. Created an eight
(8) interface LACP channel solution to extend bandwidth.
†† Implemented TeaLeaf product for customer with 17 Windows 2008 RedHat servers, each having
5TB of disk space and a 20gbe LACP channel.
†† Implemented Integrated Voice Response system for American Airline flight notifications utilizing
customized WebSphere 6.0 (ND) based application to notify customers of flight cancellations and/
or schedule changes with existing reservations. Engineered clustered, 3-tier system with RedHat
EL 4, with IBM (Apache) HTTP server acting as the web layer. Messaging-based application
utilized the internal SIB engine within WebSphere 6.0.
†† Instrumental in developing and implementing American’s terminal kiosks. Collaborated with
team members and American employees to develop multi-language capabilities.
†† Migrated database servers from Solaris to RedHat Enterprise Linux operating on HP DL585
servers. Deployed new hardware, developed Linux kickstart process, and collaborated with
