 Involuntary Single Women – divorced, widowed, not
living with spouse, though still married …
 The problems were categorised under 3 different heads,
viz;
• Emotional
• Psychological
• Social
These factors were specifically studied as they
directly have an impact on the mental health
which can affect the physical health adversely

3. To identify the factors costing social and
emotional of single women’s psychological
health which in turn is likely to affect their
physical health in the long run.

4.  Primary data of 150 single women residing
in the suburbs of Vikroli, Chembur,
Ghatkopar suburbsof Mumbai city. were
collected using questionnaires method.
