make decisions and choices.
You have to make sure that these
decisions are well informed and
reasonable, and do not cause
harm to others.
No body can make decisions for
you.
9. A decision-making
method.
You describe the decision you need to make.
Eg to have sexual intercourse or not?
Gather information about the decision.
Identify your different options. Eg abstain,
refuse to have sex or unprotected sex, or do
it.
Give at least one impact or effect for each
option.

your decision.

how you feel about your decision.

decisions that we normally
regret there after.

assistance.

need it.

opportunity to live a healthy and balanced
life.

14. Two Big questions.
1. what do you intend your
student to learn about this idea?
I intend my student to know the impact of unsafe practices on
self and others, and how these practices could be harmful to
the society as a whole.
I also intend my students to learn how to make informed
decision using decision making method without causing harm
to others.
15. 3. What else do you know about
this idea that you do not intend
students to know yet?
What I know is that some practices may be harmful
or can be seen as deviance but can be fruitful at
the end. E,g deforestation
It is only good based on how it helps people with
wood and papers but it is bad on environment.
16. Teaching methods.
role play- to demonstrate how to use a decision-
making method
Question and answer- to see whether the students
are engaged and whether they understand what
they are learning.
Discussion- to give them chance to share their
ideas based on what they are learning.
Case study- in other to show learners how unsafe
behaviour can be a threat in the society.
