In this research we focuses on the revolution that is changing the World Wide Web, electronic commerce, and business in general. Web 2.0 is the term used to describe the wave of change in business models and in Web site functionality that has transformed the online landscape. Most likely, you are already familiar with popular Web 2.0 applications such as Facebook or Wikipedia.
Web 2.0 introduces unprecedented ways to connect to friends, share knowledge with your colleagues, or collaborate with a team of engineers 5,000 miles away, and many of today’s companies cannot afford to miss this trend.
Most young people entering the workforce have grown accustomed to using Facebook or Twitter for their communication needs. With Web 2.0 providing a new set of capabilities for individuals and businesses, an understanding of how they can be applied can be very helpful. Being able to understand and apply these emerging capabilities and strategies that are associated with Web 2.0 is a highly marketable skill.
Relevant information was collected from trusted internet sources and some papers which is published in well-known conferences.

Semantic web approach towards interoperability and privacy issues in social n...ijwscjournal
The Social Web is a set of social relations that link people through World Wide Web. This Social Web
encompasses how the websites and software are designed and developed to support social relations. The
new paradigms, tools and web services introduced by Social Web are widely accepted by internet users.
The main drawbacks of these tools are it acts as independent data silos; hence interoperability among
applications is a complex issue. This paper focuses on this issue and how best we can use semantic web
technologies to achieve interoperability among applications.

On the last day of CSWE’s Annual Program Meeting at 10:00 AM in the Dallas Ballroom A-2, Nancy J. Smyth, Melanie Sage, Jonathan Singer, and I are presenting about how social work educators can use technology for career-long learning. Nancy, Melanie and I introduced the idea of professional learning networks (PLN) to a packed room at Social Work Distance Education Conference in April, and wanted to bring the practice to the #APM17 crowd. A PLN incorporates technology-based tools and processes in a way that allows individuals to stay up-to-date and share information about current news, practice knowledge and current research findings. We will be talking about the mechanics, advantages and disadvantages of establishing a PLN. One resources we will be sharing is our Professional Learning Network (PLN) Worksheet, which takes a social worker through the steps of creating their own PLN.

Public library of Jaffna is universally recognized and one of the biggest libraries in Asia. Currently
it consists of several sections with millions of books and other reading materials. Since, entire system of library
governed through manual system, a research work carried out with an objective; to develop software to
automate the existing system of public library of Jaffna. Library Management System (LMS) was developed with
the user management account, search record account, book borrowing system, report generator, inventory
management system. LMS was successfully developed as a secured and computerized system to overcome the
problems of existing system. This digitalization helps to reduce the paper documentation and enable quick
access without any corruption of data or information.

CFD Simulation of By-pass Flow in a HRSG module by R&R Consult.pptxR&R Consult
CFD analysis is incredibly effective at solving mysteries and improving the performance of complex systems!
Here's a great example: At a large natural gas-fired power plant, where they use waste heat to generate steam and energy, they were puzzled that their boiler wasn't producing as much steam as expected.
R&R and Tetra Engineering Group Inc. were asked to solve the issue with reduced steam production.
An inspection had shown that a significant amount of hot flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes, where the heat was supposed to be transferred.
R&R Consult conducted a CFD analysis, which revealed that 6.3% of the flue gas was bypassing the boiler tubes without transferring heat. The analysis also showed that the flue gas was instead being directed along the sides of the boiler and between the modules that were supposed to capture the heat. This was the cause of the reduced performance.
Based on our results, Tetra Engineering installed covering plates to reduce the bypass flow. This improved the boiler's performance and increased electricity production.
It is always satisfying when we can help solve complex challenges like this. Do your systems also need a check-up or optimization? Give us a call!
Work done in cooperation with James Malloy and David Moelling from Tetra Engineering.

Hierarchical Digital Twin of a Naval Power SystemKerry Sado
A hierarchical digital twin of a Naval DC power system has been developed and experimentally verified. Similar to other state-of-the-art digital twins, this technology creates a digital replica of the physical system executed in real-time or faster, which can modify hardware controls. However, its advantage stems from distributing computational efforts by utilizing a hierarchical structure composed of lower-level digital twin blocks and a higher-level system digital twin. Each digital twin block is associated with a physical subsystem of the hardware and communicates with a singular system digital twin, which creates a system-level response. By extracting information from each level of the hierarchy, power system controls of the hardware were reconfigured autonomously. This hierarchical digital twin development offers several advantages over other digital twins, particularly in the field of naval power systems. The hierarchical structure allows for greater computational efficiency and scalability while the ability to autonomously reconfigure hardware controls offers increased flexibility and responsiveness. The hierarchical decomposition and models utilized were well aligned with the physical twin, as indicated by the maximum deviations between the developed digital twin hierarchy and the hardware.

7. INTRODUCTION
The main goal of this system is to make your social life and that of your
friends, more active and stimulating.
This service is provided as an online only resource so that it may be
continually extended and updated.
Social Networking - It's the way the 21st century communicates now.
Social networking is the grouping of individuals into specific groups.
8. Social network is the mapping and measuring of relationships and
flows between people, groups, organizations, computers, URLs, and
other connected information/knowledge entities.
The nodes in the network are the people and groups while the
links show relationships or flows between the nodes.
Social network provides both a visual and a mathematical analysis
Of human relationships.
9. SOCIAL NETWORKING SITE: WHY DO WE
USE IT?
This system provides users to register their various types of profiles like
social personal, general, professional.
To send a messages, images, and data files to their friends and
acquaintances.
User can maintain the records of the messages sent and received.
To upload the photos and share it with their others.
Users can join any community of their interests.
This system is capable enough to let you keep your friends at a place and
interact with them as and when you want.
13. CONCLUSION
Social Networking website is a revolutionary idea with a very bright
future with further scope for advancements.
Organisations are no longer at the mercy of the media to advertise or
convey their messages.
With the help of social networking they can advertise or communicate in
a more efficient way. For example, Starbucks have started a very
successful program in which a person from any part of the world can
login to a website to write comments and discuss issues.
People don’t have to rely on newspapers or TV to get their daily dose of
news it can all be obtained from a social networking site.
14. People can follow or get information from any part of the world.
For example Twitter allows a user to follow anything from airline timing to
the next breaking news from China.
It is even used by eminent personalities like politicians , actors and
by a lot of public figures to get their message across.
