SNAPSHOT OF SOME SPECIAL PROJECTS
❖ Recruitment of A-player team members using Top Grading Interviewing Practices in various
departments including marketing, support, event co-ordination & sales.
❖ Authored a Team and Leadership Care manual (in the olden days it would have been called
the Policies & Procedures Manual) including introduction of progressive team members
focused guidelines and best practices for use across the organization. Designed
implementation process for roll out to all team members. Highly culturally aligned to
support people in making valued based decisions rather than a “list of rules”.
❖ Developed a workshop on Personality Types including purpose, design, facilitation,
implementation and follow through.
❖ Developed a workshop on Managing Stress in the Workplace: purpose, design, facilitation,
implementation and follow through.
❖ RRSP matching scheme including interviewing potential providers, internal communication
& administration practices.
❖ Conducted Employee Engagement session including STOP/START/CONTINUE
conversations. Set in motion recommendations for next steps.
❖ Employee relations including career development, employment retention, employee
engagement and sensitive issue counsel.
❖ Review of salary guidelines and authoring of a salary administration guideline. Attraction
and retention as a key focus.
❖ Mentoring and coaching of senior leadership.
❖ Creation of the Smart Set Employee Value Proposition (EVP) addressing the division’s
commitment to our team members in keeping with the corporate vision.
❖ Project management of the development of the Store Opening Procedure Manual
❖ Development of the Customer Experience program including workbooks, facilitator's
guide and workshops incorporating the brand experience necessary to ensure fiscal
success.
❖ Led the development of the operational practices to be used nationally to ensure flawless
execution and increased productivity.
❖ Numerous external market visits to support innovation in current practices.
❖ Orchestrated countless nation conferences from strategizing of needs for development
and corporate communication to ensuring fun was had by all!
