Communication is an integral part of our life. We use our communication skills while reading, writing, speaking, and listening. Almost the whole day is spent in communicating with others. Communications with others is critical. None of our day to day activities whether personal or professional can be completed without communicating. We keep communicating may be verbally or through writing to our friends, family members or professional colleagues. However, has it ever happened with you that someone to whom you were communicating asked you a question, “What do you mean” or “What you want me to do”? Sometimes you must have found yourself saying, “But I mean to say”, or someone who is talking to you says, “No, No, what I wanted to say”. Have you ever found yourself saying to your superior about your subordinate, “Sir, I told him several times, but I don’t know why he does not listen? Or “I don’t know why he does not do it”? All these questions and statement point out only one thing and that is, “Communication is not as easy as we think it is”.
It is very rightly said, “Communication is done by the listener”, as whatever the other person makes out of the message only that can be considered as the message communicated by the speaker. The book, ‘Why My Horse Doesn’t Listen’ will help you understand all those situations that affect your performance while communicating with others.
An Overview of User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Usersnap
What is User Acceptance Testing? Also known as UAT or UAT testing.
it's basically, a process of verifying that a solution works for the user.
And the key word here, is user. This is crucial, because they’re the people who will use the software on a daily basis. There are many aspects to consider with respect to software functionality. There’s unit testing, functional testing, integration testing, and system testing, amongst many others.
What Is User Acceptance Testing?
I’ll keep it simple; according to Techopedia, UAT (some people call it UAT testing as well) is:
User acceptance testing (UAT) is the last phase of the software testing process. During UAT, actual software users test the software to make sure it can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to specifications. UAT is one of the final and critical software project procedures that must occur before newly developed software is rolled out to the market.
User acceptance testing (UAT), otherwise known as Beta, Application, or End-User Testing, is often considered the last phase in the web development process, the one before final installation of the software on the client site, or final distribution of it.

Understanding what your target audience's needs are and what they are looking for when they need you most is a critical piece of the puzzle. Why I'm talking to you today: 1. I am responsible for a majority of my organization's social media efforts. -Started and continue to develop and oversee OSA's podcast - Initiated the use of Twitter for members at Meetings - Developed online communities for membership groups - located on CollectiveX and Sharepoint - Created Recruitment Contest featuring YouTube videos created by our Chapters (we have 167 worldwide) - Working on the development of online communities for our Technical Divisions - Working on live online streaming of the annual chapter leadership meeting using Twitter and chat to interact with members who can't be present
Social media isn’t about the tools – it’s about what the tools enable. Social media cannot exist in a vacuum. Social media has to be integrated into your organization’s overall communications strategy. The tools that you want to use are dependent on what you want to accomplish. There’s no social media tool continuum that lays out all social media tools from least beneficial to most beneficial. No chart that says blogs are the best tool to use when you’re first starting out with social media. The tools that you use (and how you use them) are entirely dependent on what you want to accomplish. I can’t tell you what tool you should get started with until we determine what your goal is. There need to be at least four groups represented - 1. people who “get” social media, 2. representatives from the communications or public affairs group who can speak to the organization’s communications strategy, 3. people from the IT department who understand the technical architecture, rules and policies of the organization, 4. and someone who really understands the organization’s mission - the person who is deeply involved with the organization’s overall strategies.
