The Concept of Bullying In the Figures of a Popular Cartoon: Doraemoninventionjournals
The concept of bullying has now been widely discussed since the accident happened in Pa-Te Junior High School. The rapid development of Internet fosters the spread of bullying incidents through posting the video of bullying. The MOE has set up a system to train the students to protect themselves when they encountered the situation of being bullied. In reality, school bullying happens in every country around the world, and thousands of students wake up afraid of going to school. Internet and mess-media facilitate the spread of school bullying, especially in TV program. The development of mass-media descends the ages of starting watching TV programs for young children. Children love to watch cartoons, no matter which country they are produced. However, the plots of some cartoons reveal the concept of bullying through the behavior of the main figures. Doraemon, which is a very popular cartoon for children to watch, creates some figures that are violent and prefer bullying the main character: Nobita. The existing documents and studies discuss various aspects of school bullying. This study intends to explore the concept of bullying in some popular figures and tries to find out solutions of this problem. After examining the plots of the cartoons and analyzing the figures, this study concludes that bullying types existing in the figures of these cartoons are direct physical attack, indirect physical attack, direct verbal attack and social exclusion from normal group activities. As for the solution for reducing the negative influence of these programs is to strengthen parents’ and teachers’ alert, accompany the children to watch the program, build up sense of empathy, integrate the concept of safety into the program. Most important of all, parents have to help their children to develop their own judgment to judge what’s right or wrong of these cartoon figures’ behaviors

Overt Victimization and the Psychosocial Maladjustment of Adolescents in Seco...ijtsrd
Overt victimization and maladjustment is a drawback that is affecting most adolescents in Secondary schools in Cameroon for the past years which has been grossly neglected in Sub Sahara Africa. This study was on how overt victimization leads to psychosocial maladjustments among adolescents in secondary schools in Cameroon North West, South West, Central, and Adamawa . The research method adopted for this study was mixed method with a concurrent nested design. The sample was made up of 594 students from twelve schools, 24 administrators from these schools and twelve focus groups from twelve schools. The instruments used in collecting data were a questionnaire and focus group discussion with students, and an interview for school administrators. Data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using cross tabulations, frequencies, percentages and multiple response sets. Findings showed that overt victimization significantly predicts psychosocial maladjustment of adolescents in secondary schools P 0.001 . The positive sign of the correlation value R= 0.347 implied that adolescents are more likely to suffer from psychosocial maladjustments when there is constant or persistent occurrence of overt victimization in the school environment. It was concluded that overt victimization leads to psychosocial maladjustments among adolescents in secondary schools in Cameroon. Based on the findings, it was recommended that curbing overt victimisation and fostering adolescents adjustment in school is a joint effort by parents, teachers, school Chaplin’s, administrators, discipline masters| mistresses and school counsellors through advocacy and organizing seminars which create awareness on deteriorating effects of over victimization. A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

Thesis: Because, for decades, this country has witnessed its alarmingly increasing rate of
destructiveness with grave outcomes, aggressive actions must be taken to prevent youth violence; video
surveillance should be mandatory in all middle, secondary, and post-secondary schools.
• Bullying is one the most popular forms of youth violence.
• It occurs in every type of school (especially in congested areas).
• Youth violence can be dealt with as soon as someone realizes that it’s occurring.
• Video surveillance can give administration information and evidence not otherwise
available.
• Surveillance gives some apprehension from fear of being caught.
• Video allows real time monitoring of their facilities (administration can watch actions as
they occur).
• The objective of schools (to teach) is greatly hindered by the presence of youth violence.
• Everyone deserves and has the right to only be subjected to environments that they feel
safe and comfortable in (especially children).
