2. How does it works
Spider is powered by FIWARE, it receives lots of IoT data from different sources,
allowing to understand what is happening in the city on real time. Being “Smart”
requires first being “Aware”. Knowing what its happening allows Spider to
automatically run automatic actions based on events. For example, Spider is
connected to City Water Irrigation System, and the weather forecast system.
Spider will automatically prevent Irrigation system to start watering if rains are
expected in the next hours. This allows a new City model, a city that Sense &
Respond.
