An international team has designed the world's smallest hearing aid called Nanoplug. At just 7.1mm x 5.7mm x 4.17mm, it is half the size of other hearing aids and intended to be less intrusive, less noticeable, and less expensive. Nanoplug was conceived by Nevena Zivic and developed with industrial designer Jongha Lee, audio engineer Mladen Stavri and electromechanical engineer Zoran Marinovi. It contains no toxic chemicals or heavy metals and can be programmed via a computer and cable connection.

The technology is growing vastly. Everyone in humanity has some limitations. One of those limitations is visual disability. So we are here with a system that helps the visually disabled people. The framework here contains object detection with voice assistance within an app and a hardware part attached to the blinds stick for distance calculation. The app is designed to support the blind person to explore freely anywhere he wants. The working of the framework begins by surveilling the situations around the user and distinguishing them utilizing a camera. The app will then detect the objects present in the input video frame by using the SSD algorithm comparing it with the trained model. The video captured is partitioned into grids to detect the object obstacle. In this way, the subtleties of the object detected can be achieved and along with it distance measurement can also be calculated using specific algorithms. A Text to Speech TTS converter is utilized for changing over the data about the object detected into an audio speech format. The framework application passes on the scene which the blind people is going in his her territorial language with the snap of a catch. The technologies utilized here makes the framework execution effective. SMART DUSTBIN USING ARDUINO NANO
Abstract : The project’s major goal is to create an intelligent trash can that would aid in maintaining a clean
and environmentally friendly environment. The Swachh Bharat Mission motivates us. Since technology is
becoming increasingly intelligent, we are utilising Arduino nano to develop an intelligent dustbin to help clean
the environment. The ultrasonic sensors on the trashcan are part of the dustbin control and management system,
which happens to be designed with a microcontroller-based platform. In the suggested method, we used an
ARDUINO NANO, an ultrasonic sensor, a Mini servo motor, and jumper wire linked to a charger to construct an
intelligent trash can. The Smart Dustbin application will launch when all hardware and software connections
have been made. Dustbin lid will wait for the person to pass by at a distance of 60 cm.

Researchers tested four types of reusable water bottles and found that bottles that were used for a week without washing had more bacteria than a toilet seat. Specifically, the slide-top bottle had more bacteria than an average toilet seat, pet bowl, or kitchen sink. Over 60% of the bacteria found on the bottles could make people sick. The cleanest bottle type tested was the straw-top bottle, and researchers also found that stainless steel bottles were healthier options than plastic bottles.

An outbreak of chikungunya virus has spread like an epidemic in the capital city this year, with doctors seeing many young patients suffering from acute joint pain wheelchair bound. While only a few labs can test for the virus, it is estimated that 80% of patients presenting with viral fever and joint pain symptoms at some hospitals have tested positive for chikungunya. The outbreak has been attributed to increased mosquito breeding due to heavy monsoon rains. Treatment involves painkillers, though paracetamol often provides little relief from the debilitating joint pain associated with the illness.

The hearing aid called `Nanoplug' is meant to be less intrusive than other such devices, less noticeable and less expensive. The device is just 7.1mm x 5.7mm x 4.17mm, which the team says is half the size of any other hearing aid.
- 3. Contd.. Nanoplug was first conceived by Nevena Zivic and then brought to fruition by industrial designer, Jongha Lee, audio engineer Mladen Stavri and electromechanical engineer Zoran Marinovi. On its Indiegogo page, the team claims the hearing aid has no toxic chemicals inside, nor heavy metals, Tech Xplore reported. Nanoplug can be programmed using software running on a computer, the results of which can be downloaded directly to the device via a cable.
