The document discusses creativity and the most creative scientific idea. It defines creativity as the ability to create new things and notes that all scientific ideas are creative. Every invention was created to meet human needs, like medicines to cure disease and machines to make life more enjoyable. The most creative scientific idea is proposed to be the internet, which allows computers around the world to connect and communicate, sharing data and information. The seeds of the internet were planted in 1969 with the ARPANET project connecting universities and organizations.

At any given time, with all the knowledge we have, new knowledge can emerge. We call this the adjacent possible. It explains why new inventions are invented when they are, and why they are not possible before. Adjacent possible is a very useful term to understand the progress of technology. Technology evolves by using prevailing technologies to improve upon. Thus technology is combinatorial and built in layers. With each layer new ideas can be built upon the previous layers. Thus Gall´s Law says that any complex system that works is built of simpler systems that work.
We will look at the adjacent possible and some ideas that came when all the enabling technologies are available. We also look at an idea that was not possible to build at the time, Charles Babbage engines.

At any given moment it is easy to look back to see how technology has changed over time. At the same time it is difficult to see what transformations are taking place in current moment, and even more difficult to see where things are going.
We will explore what technology is. For us it may be the latest tech stuff we see, something new. But what about everyday objects that we take for granted. Are those not technologies also?
How does technology evolve and where did it come from? We look at some ideas on evolution of technology and how it is similar to biology in some ways. We will also look at the origin of the word technology. Finally we will define the term we will use in the course. Terms defined are technology, product performance, and innovation to name few.

SkopjeTechMeetup is an initiative by Tricode for supporting and strengthening the Macedonian IT community. The meetups have the goal of establishing a networking platform for the IT crowd where they can share their know-how, best practices, as well as mutual inspiration.
The 6th STM installment took place at Piazza Liberta, Skopje last Thursday, the 29th of September. This meetup hosted 3 seasoned speakers, each accomplished in their own way.
Here's the presentation of Ermal Sadiku.
In a world where society is moved by science and technology more than anything, scientists and engineers have the power to change the world for better or worse. How should we look at and understand this in order to make the right choices?
For the most time of human history, life was local and linear. Local in the way that anything that happened was close by, a least within a walking distance. Linear in the way that your life was the same as your parents and your children. Nothing changed.
Just like the evolution of man, technology improvements follow an evolutionary progress. New ideas or products are to begin with immature and fragile with slow improvements. Then the progress accelerates until the products become mature and taken for granted. Then the cycle repeats and a new layer of technology is added to the previous. This process is exponential. One such observation of exponential is Moore’s Law.
We will explore what exponential means. We look at Moore´s law and The Law of the Accelerating returns.
In the early days of product development, the technology is inferior and lacking in performance. The focus is very much on the technology itself. The users are enthusiast who like the idea of the product, find use for it, and except the lack of performance. Then as the product becomes more mature, other factors become important, such as price, design, features, portability. The product moves from being a technology to become a consumer item, and even a community.
In this lecture we explore the change from technology focus to consumer focus, and look at why people stand in line overnight to buy the latest gadgets.
History has many examples of great innovators who had difficult time convincing their contemporaries of new technology. Even incumbent and powerful companies regarded new technologies as inferior and dismissed it as "toys". Then when disruptive technologies take off they often are overhyped and can cause bubbles like the Internet bubble of the late 1990s.
In this lecture we look at some examples of disruptive technologies and the impact they had. We look at the The Disruptive Innovation Theory by Harvard Professor Clayton Christensen.

The Future World is a presentation by Sasha Kazantseva first done at the Woman Development Forum in Guernsey. Sasha explores the technology trends of the past 300 years and the implications for the future.
We live in a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) world where the main currency is ideas and innovation and the most important investment you can make if you.
Sasha blogs at www.startupme.co
Sasha is a Guernsey resident technology entrepreneur, angel investor and NED. She set up her first venture in school aged 16 and the entrepreneurial spark never left her. Since then she has worked for Google, L'Oreal and Priceline, co-founded a private start-up accelerator, a green activist group in Russia and launched a mobile game for iOS.
At Google, Sasha created or co-founded global award winning campaigns such as the Google Cultural Institute and a big data predictor algorithm for competitions. She is passionate about supporting and promoting startup ecosystems and is involved with projects in Guernsey as a director with Start Up Guernsey, committee member of Creative Industries.
She has lived and worked in Singapore, Thailand, Mongolia, Russia, UK and Spain and holds a BSc from the London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD. She lives in Guernsey with her husband, whom she met climbing Mt Kilimanjaro for charity, and their twin daughters.

1. First Session : creativity
First task : The most creative scientific idea ever
The modern age is the age of science.wherever we cast our eyes,we see different
wonders of science. The gifts of science are so many.it is very difficult to single
out the most creative scientific idea ever.Every gift was an idea before it was
invented.Every gift is very creavite.
Creativity : Creativity can be defined as the ability to create something or to
introduce new things.New ideas are produced from creativity. All the scientific
ideas are very much creative.
Creativity is very much important from all aspects.Every invention invented in the
world was invented to meet the necessity of human being.Different medicines
were invented so that people can be get cured of diseases.Different machines like
fan, air condition transport, mobile etc were invented to make our life more
enjoyabje.Computer,tv etc were invented to get information and for
entertainment.Everything has been possible only for creativity.
Creativity has a great relationship with business. To survive in business and to
compete with others businessmen have to create new ideas and new product
concept which have to be better than others. They have to anticipate what will
happen in the future. This is also a part of creativity. Those people who have the
most creativity, they are the best in business sector.
It seems to me that the most creative scientific idea is the idea of
internet.Internet is a network of networks a global communication system that
connects thousands of individual networks. As a result, any computer on any
network can commucate with each other. These connections allow users to
exchange messages to communicate with each other in real time to share data
and programme and to access limitless stores of information.Internet has become
so important that its importance and use is considered an essential part of
computer use.
2. The seeds of computer were planted in 1969 when the Advanced Reseach
Projects Agency of the U.S Department of defense began connecting computers
at different universities and defense constractors. The resulting network was
called ARPANET.The goal of this early projects was to create a large number of
network with multiple paths in the form of telephone lines.
ARPA had a second important for creating such network. That is,it would allow
people in remote locations to share scarce computing resources.
