2. Problem
A large number of people in our country are visually impaired.
Lack of technological support.
Specially for people of lower middle class or lower class there is lack of
support.
No smart devices are currently available in market for blind people.
If available they are costly and not affordable for a huge number of people.
People are afraid of complex use of technology
3. Solution
Spark eye- our smart glass for blind people. It helps a person to walk smoothly
in streets or home . It helps them by guiding in local language. Anyone can set
the voice commands in his favorite local language and move.
The device is easy to use and required a very little amount to produce that
anyone would love to have it.
It works on a rechargeable battery and it takes ½ hours for full charge.
The device guide a person to move front , to wait someone in front, to move
right, to move left etc.
The glass looks like an ordinary glass with smart features.
4. Methodology
Some theoretical and technical methods are followed to develop
this system. First of all to design the glass a proper design was
imagined and painted which sets at someone's eyes comfortably.
Use of ultrasonic vision for obstacle detection. Ultrasonic can
detect obstacle up to a specific distance. Ultrasonic sensor we
have used here can detect up to 2 cm to 400 cm. It is programmed
in a way that it will start giving alert of obstacles between a
moderate gap from user to obstacle. Microcontroller and other
circuit elements are designed compactly so that it won’t harm the
user. For charging the battery there is a separate port. There is
3.5 mm headphone jack for user to connect his headphone with
the device.
9. Controller Design & Implementation
We have used atmega328 IC with arduino microcontroller board. We have
used audio module for voice navigation and ultrasonic sensor for obstacle
detection.
Power supply used 12 volt. We have connected and powered the circuit using
LED acid battery.
10. Unique Selling Point
We have developed this product for greater benefit of humankind. We have
no motive to sell it and making profit.
Public’s satisfaction is our profit.
So far no such device is available in local market.
In global market it is available with higher price.

Our team is consist of seven members . All are students,alumni of Electrical and
Computer Engineering and Masters of Business Administration North South
University.We have web developer, App developer,Graphics Designer, Animator,
Hardware expert and business development minds in our team. Our team has
previous experience of developing prototypes, mobile applications and smart
systems. Our team is recognized both National and Internationally. We have
developd 70+ mobile applications, 20+ prototypes. Team was recognized world
champion in IoT segment by IIT Mumbai, Recognized by make magazine and New
york hall of science,Smart city hackaton winner, Basis National ICT Award and Best
young innovator award by A2i.
