For this project I tackled the critical concern of immigration. Immigration has been a concern of
the sisters for a while now and I wanted to learn more about what has been happening behind the

2. Social Interactions/Development While observing the younger age group, I observed many
social interactions and play. One example was EJ, a male born on 6/3/2015, who was stacking
blocks with an adult in the room. He would stack them up and knock them over each time he
built a tower. I identified this play as exploratory because he was using the tangible properties of
the blocks (Steinberg, Bornstein, Vandell, Rook, 2011). I identified his social skills as

hospitals were reimbursed for their services. This change would base reimbursement on the
delivery of higher quality services. This new type of payment program meant hospitals would be
