 Although many may imagine that “Although many may imagine that “TAGHUTTAGHUT ” as only some” as only some

that thou art truly His Messenger; and He bearsthat thou art truly His Messenger; and He bears
witness that the hypocrites (witness that the hypocrites (MUNAFIQUNMUNAFIQUN) are) are

ATTITUDE OF THE ‘MUNAFIQUN’

IGNORANCEIGNORANCE of theof the DEENDEEN may even lead one tomay even lead one to SHIRKSHIRK and other sins,and other sins,
especiallyespecially NIFAAQNIFAAQ (hypocrisy).(hypocrisy).

Such people withSuch people with NIFAAQNIFAAQ, although still regarded as a, although still regarded as a MUSLIMMUSLIM,,
would inwardly rejects Islam and undermine its teachings,would inwardly rejects Islam and undermine its teachings,
preferring other “preferring other “ismsisms”, or rules, even when these are contrary to”, or rules, even when these are contrary to
the Islamic principles.the Islamic principles.

““Of the people there are some who say: "We believe
in Allah and the Last Day" but they do not (really)
believe. Fain would they deceive Allah and those
who believe, but they only deceive themselves, and
realize (it) not! In their hearts is a disease; and
Allah has increased their disease and grievous is the
penalty they (incur), because they are false (to
themselves).””

“When they meet those who believe, they say: "We believe" but
when they are alone with their evil ones (SHAYAATIN – their
leaders) they say: "We are really with you, we (were) only jesting.“

These Muslims, referred to as hypocrites, would outwardly insistThese Muslims, referred to as hypocrites, would outwardly insist
their loyalty and affiliation is with the Muslims, yet they aretheir loyalty and affiliation is with the Muslims, yet they are
merely mocking Islam.merely mocking Islam.
They may have a hidden agenda for this, because their true loyaltyThey may have a hidden agenda for this, because their true loyalty
is in fact with their ‘leaders’ whom Allah describes as theiris in fact with their ‘leaders’ whom Allah describes as their
‘Satans’‘Satans’ ((SHAYAATINSHAYAATIN).).

““Allah will throw back their mockery on them and give themAllah will throw back their mockery on them and give them
rope in their trespasses (rope in their trespasses (TUGHYANTUGHYAN) ; so they will wander like) ; so they will wander like
blind ones (to and fro)”blind ones (to and fro)”

““These are they who have bartered guidance for error: butThese are they who have bartered guidance for error: but
their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction.”their traffic is profitless, and they have lost true direction.”

Although it may seem that they are successful in their scheme,Although it may seem that they are successful in their scheme,
this is only because Allah has gave them temporary leeway forthis is only because Allah has gave them temporary leeway for
them asthem as ISTIDRAJISTIDRAJ, - and to be a test for all of us mankind., - and to be a test for all of us mankind.
Yet, the reality is that they (Yet, the reality is that they (MUNAFIQUNMUNAFIQUN) have no true direction) have no true direction
in life, they are astray, groping like the blind. Their objective isin life, they are astray, groping like the blind. Their objective is
only the fulfilment of their worldly desire (only the fulfilment of their worldly desire (HAWAHAWA’) – being’) – being
doubtful and cynical even towards Islamic belief in the Hereafter.doubtful and cynical even towards Islamic belief in the Hereafter.

Thus they would have no qualms in aligning themselves with theThus they would have no qualms in aligning themselves with the
secular forces or even atheistic regime of this world.secular forces or even atheistic regime of this world.
Their sycophantic attitude towards even unjust and evil dictatorsTheir sycophantic attitude towards even unjust and evil dictators
with their un-Islamic policies (with their un-Islamic policies (TAGHUTTAGHUT), would baffle other true), would baffle other true
Muslims, yet we cannot denounce them asMuslims, yet we cannot denounce them as KAFIRUNKAFIRUN..
Howbeit, Allah SWT would certainly know who they are.Howbeit, Allah SWT would certainly know who they are.

“Of those who reject faith the patrons are the TAGHUT – (Evil Ones):
from light they will lead them forth into the depths of darkness. They
will be companions of the fire, to dwell therein (for ever).”

Allah tells us that these hypocrites (Allah tells us that these hypocrites (MUNAFIQUNMUNAFIQUN) and the) and the
Disbelievers (Disbelievers (KAFIRUNKAFIRUN) are in fact being led by) are in fact being led by TAGHUTTAGHUT, who is, who is
theirtheir WALIYWALIY (patron, protector, friend, helper, etc.).(patron, protector, friend, helper, etc.).
When judged in the light of Islam, their life is moving along aWhen judged in the light of Islam, their life is moving along a
slippery downward path into further unbelief.slippery downward path into further unbelief.

“Behold, as for those who come to believe, and
then deny the truth, and again come to believe,
and again deny the truth, and thereafter grow
stubborn in their denial of the truth - Allah will not
forgive them, nor will He guide them in any way.
Announce thou to such hypocrites (MUNAFIQEEN)
that grievous suffering awaits them.”
(Qur’an: An-Nisa’: 4: 137-138)
