Student Perfect
Attendance Award
• Situation: being in a school
    where nobody cared about
getting to school on time or
    even showing up. I finished
    high school at an alternative
    adult school because of some
    family issues which caused me
to drop out of grade 12.
• Task: My job was to differ from
everyone and do what I thought
would get me a better future.
• Action: I began to concentrate
and show up for my classes on
    time.
• Result: In result I was awarded
    on morning with the student
    perfect attendance award.
Outstanding
Contribution Award
• Situation: Slacking in my
    classes and not doing my
    assignments.
• Task: Getting my act together
and focusing in school to get
    my high school diploma.
• Action: I began to stay back at
    school and complete
    outstanding
    assignments, participating in
    class discussions and helping
others to achieve their goal to
    be committed to school.
• Result: In result I went a
    tremendous step forward and
got high marks in all my
courses. I was awarded with the
    outstanding contribution
    award.
A photo of a life
experience
• Situation: Finding my first job
    was taking a long time.
• Task: Putting more work into
    my resume and job hunting
    daily.
• Action: I went around my
    neighborhood and applied at
McDonalds, I was called a week
    later for an interview. Arriving
    very confident and open
minded to the interview, a lot of
    smiling and pleasant talk got
    me my first job.
• Result: In result I have learned
    how to co-operate with fellow
    co-workers and how to handle
    customer service. I have learned
how to work fast in the
    workplace and how to treat
    guests.
OSSD (Ontario
Secondary School
Diploma)
• Situation: Being a high school
dropout and yearning to go back
to school and get my diploma. I
was living with a single mother
    who was working everyday. My
mom had a new born, and while
she was at work, I would have to
stay home and babysit for her.
• Task: Appling into high school
and finishing up my courses to
    achieve my last few credits.
• Action: Putting full effort into
    school and graduating with at
    least an 80 average. Attending
school everyday was a bit hard
because of the family issues I was
    having.
• Result: In result, I successfully
    accomplished finishing high
school, and I was rewarded with
    my high school diploma. This
award means a lot to me. I
thought it was hopeless to get, but
    I proved myself wrong .
