This document outlines five reasons to use information and communication technology (ICT) in the classroom: 1) It improves teaching and learning by enhancing lesson planning, grading, comprehension, and problem solving. 2) It gives students easy access to fast communication and information without limits. 3) It makes lessons more dynamic, student-centered, collaborative, and motivating by allowing students to learn while doing and redo work. 4) It saves time and money, as students retain 27% more of lessons and teachers can spend 73% of lesson time teaching rather than 20% without ICT. They can teach for 655 hours per year within a $37 million budget. 5) It facilitates personalized learning by helping students control their own learning path and growth
