Electrolyte:
A substance that conduct electricity in molten
state@aqueous solution and undergo chemical
changes.
Ionic compounds in molten state@in aqueous
solution are electrolytes because these substances
contain freely moving ions
Electrolysis:
 A process whereby compounds in
molten @aqueous states are broken down
into their constituent element by passing
electric through them
Non-electrolytes:
A substance that cannot conduct
electricity either in molten state @aqueous
solution.
Covalent compound are non electrolytes
which contains molecule and no freely
moving ion.
