3. 1. Giới thiệu tổng quan về Slack
Đây là một dịch vụ chat mới, được phát
triển để chúng ta hãy quên đi việc giao tiếp
bằng email hay bằng các phần mềm chat
thông thường (như Skype, Yahoo,
iMessage…).
Năm 2015, Slack được trang Tech Insider
bầu chọn là 1 trong 9 ứng dụng di động
hay và sáng tạo nhất thế giới
Ưu điểm của nó, thứ nhất là đa nền tảng (máy tính, Android, iOS) nên mọi người
trong công ty có thể chat nhóm với nhau bất kể họ dùng thiết bị gì. Thứ hai và cũng là
cái đáng nói nhất là khả năng liên kết với các ứng dụng lưu trữ của những hãng khác,
ví dụ như Dropbox, Google Drive, GitHub… để cùng nhau theo dõi tiến độ công việc
ngay trong cửa sổ chat của Slack.

Tạo kênh (channels)
Quản lý các cuộc hội thoại dưới dạng kênh mở. Bạn có thể
xây dựng một kênh cho dự án cụ thể, chủ đề, một đội hay bất
cứ thứ gì mình muốn. Mọi người có thể xem thông tin trên
kênh này mọi lúc mọi nơi.
Tin nhắn trực tiếp
Liên lạc với đồng nghiệp dưới dạng trực tiếp thông qua tin
nhắn. Đây là dạng tin riêng tư và bảo mật.
Kéo thả và chia sẻ file
Không chỉ tin nhắn mà toàn bộ file, hình ảnh, PDF, tài liệu
và bảng tính đều được thả vào Slack và chia sẻ với mọi
người. Bạn có thể thêm bình luận, đánh dấu sao để xem lại
hoặc tìm kiếm tùy ý.
Nếu bạn sử dụng các dịch vụ đám mây như Google Drive,
Dropbox hay Box, hãy dán đường dẫn để tài liệu được đồng
bộ trực tiếp và cho phép người dùng khác tìm kiếm dễ dàng.

-Đặc điểm giúp Slack nổi bật hơn các phần mềm
chat khác hiện nay đó là khả năng tích hợp chức
năng chat nhóm và chức năng theo dõi tiến độ công
việc (từ Google Drive, Dropbox...) trong một chỗ
duy nhất, mọi người trong nhóm hay trong công ty
có thể vừa trao đổi vừa làm việc mà không cần phải
mở cùng lúc quá nhiều cửa sổ hay trình duyệt.
Dễ dàng tìm kiếm kho dữ liệu lưu trữ
Mọi dữ liệu đều nằm trong Slack – bao gồm tin nhắn,
thông báo, file… Chúng sẽ được phân chia mục và
lưu tự động để người dùng truy cập mỗi khi cần.
Slack cũng phân mục cho nội dung trong file để bạn
tìm kiếm nhanh hơn trong tài liệu PDF, văn bản
Word, Google Docs… Với một hộp tìm kiếm duy
nhất và cơ chế tìm kiếm mạnh mẽ, người dùng có thể

- Slack chắn chắn sẽ là một công cụ tuyệt vời trong việc hợp tác giữa
giáo viên và học sinh cũng như giữa các học sinh trong nhóm.
- Học sinh trong nhóm không cần họp mặt thường xuyên, quá trình
họp nhóm đều có thể diễn ra ở Slack, giúp các em tiết kiệm được
thời gian, công sức và tiền bạc.
- Slack giúp giáo viên giải quyết được vấn đề thường gặp hiện nay là
theo dõi tiến độ và kiểm tra tỉ lệ đóng góp, làm việc của các thành
viên trong mỗi nhóm.
- Việc trao đổi tệp tin, đặc biệt là các tập tin về lập trình sẽ diễn ra dễ

- Giao diện của ứng dụng đơn giản nhưng khá hữu dụng
- Slack là một ứng dụng miễn phì không giới hạn thành viên, cho phép người ta có thể
lưu trữ tới 10.000 tin nhắn mà nhóm đã trao đổi với nhau, 5GB dung lượng lưu trữ và
cho phép liên kết 5 dịch vụ của hãng khác
- Đa nền tảng (máy tính, Android, iOS) nên mọi người có thể chat nhóm với nhau bất
kể họ dùng thiết bị gì.
- Chỉ thông báo khi có ai đó nhắn trực tiếp cho bạn hoặc khi có ai đó đề cập tên bạn
(bằng cách dùng dấu @)
- Tính năng mention này cũng vô cùng hay, bạn có thể "chỉ mặt gọi tên" cụ thể người
mà bạn muốn chứ không chỉ là một dòng chat chung chung, đảm bảo người đó sẽ
nhận được thông báo. Ngoài ra, Slack còn cho phép tag @Everyone, lúc đó thì mọi
người trong group đều sẽ nhận được thông báo của bạn.

- Slack cho phép chúng ta tạo nhiều kênh (channel), mỗi channel sẽ có một số người nhất
định tham gia. Bằng cách chia nhỏ ra cách kênh như thế, công việc sẽ được giải quyết một
cách nhanh chóng, hiệu quả và chính xác hơn, lại đảm bảo là liên quan mật thiết đến những
người đang tham gia channel chứ không làm phiền người khác.
- Tính năng quản lý file của Slack cũng cực kì tốt. Slack cho phép xem lại tất cả mọi tập tin
đã gửi trong các channel chat, như vậy bạn có thể nhanh chóng kiếm lại file cần thiết mà
không tốn quá nhiều công sức
- Slack còn hỗ trợ tích hợp với các ứng dụng bên thứ ba như Dropbox, Google Drive, Asana,
Trello (quản lý dự án) và nhiều app khác nữa nên có thể lấy nhanh dữ liệu từ các ứng dụng
này rồi gửi cho bạn bè bằng Slack mà không phải download thủ công về máy tính.
- Slack có khả năng đọc code (bỏ vào trong cặp dấu ` `) và tự động chuyển thành một file
text. File text này được in đậm, đổi màu các từ khóa hệt như khi chúng ta đang code trong
các trình editor, nhìn vào rất dễ dàng chứ không chỉ là những dòng chữ đen mù mịt. Bằng
cách gửi code theo kiểu file text tự động như thế, nhóm lập trình viên có thể trao đổi, chỉ
dẫn nhau tiện hơn so với bất kì giải pháp chat khác
