Reasoning There is a very likely chance of humanity running out of natural resources if we continue this way, because most of the resources can be renewed like water and trees, which we are using faster than the Earth can renew. The only resource that cannot be renewed is Fossil Fuels or as we know it oil. If such a situation were to happen we would need to find alternative sources for producing energy. 15. How can Earth renew its natural resources? Natural Resources are needed for the survival of the human population. These resources are only limited on the Earth ability to renew itself. Plants renew via photosynthesis and the water cycle is how water renews itself. Non renewable resources such as minerals, gases and oils are not able to renew with the earth and will one day run out. Each little renewable resource has its way of renewing but if humankind consumes these resources faster than the earth can renew them then eventually the resources will run out.
