2. ENTERING TEXT
With the title of
my CD cover I
got the font off
the website
‘dafont.com’
and copied and
pasted it onto
Photoshop and
used the
Transform tool if
you go in ‘edit’
then ‘Free
Transform’ and I
made it bigger.
3. ADDING A GRID
I put this grid on my photoshop
page by clicking on ‘view’ then
‘show’ and then ‘grid’ so that I
can keep everything in line.
4. MAKING A PICTURE BIGGER
With making the
picture bigger I clicked
on ‘edit’ and then
went down to ‘free
transform’ with this I
can drag the corner of
the image and change
the size of it.
5. ADDING A GLOW EFFECT
• To add a glow effect you
click on the layer you
want to put a glow effect
behind and then double
click below and the
effects menu with then
come up.. You then click
on which effect you want
and you’re able to control
what style effect you
want, what angle if will
go, the strength and also
the size. You then click
‘OK’ in the top right hand
corner and it will
automatically put the
effect behind it. To see if
you like it or not it will show
you in the background
how it will look just incase.
6. TO BLUR A PICTURE
To blur a picture you
need to firstly click on
the layer of the picture
you want to blur. You
then click on the ‘Eraser
Tool’ on the left hand
side and at the top
there is a tool so you
can change the style of
how hard you want it to
erase/blur and the size
of the eraser. You can
then go round the
edge of an image to
make it blurry like I have
done to the top of my
models head.
7. GETTING RID OF A BACKGROUND OF A
PICTURE
Here I have got a Masthead
and I want to get rid of the
white background to fit into
the grey background. I firstly
make sure I’m on the layer
of that image and then
click on the ‘Magic Wand
Tool’ and click on the white
background with it. Once it
is selected you press
‘Delete’ on your keyboard
and it should erase. You
then go on ‘Select’ and
then down to ‘Deselect’ to
get rid of the highlighted
area.
