2. MAGIC WAND TOOL
I used the magic wand tool throughout my
front cover, contents and double page
spread. It was especially helpful when cutting
around my images.
I clicked on the white background then right
clicked and selected ‘select inverse’ which
then selected only the Image.
3. CLONE STAMP TOOL
This tool copies a section of an image and then you can use it to ‘stamp’ on
other places of the page and it will ‘clone’ the part of the image selected
Here you can see the camera has cut the top
of the models head off in a straight line. This
looked silly on the front so I used the stamp
tool to create a new head. You can change the
size and type of brush here.
4. EDITING PHOTOS

5. RULE OF THIRDS
The rule of thirds draws your eyes to the most important parts of the image you
want to stand out. You should consider placing points of interest in as you frame
your image.
